Lose yourself in the action with this stylish LED TV from Philips. With a stunning 4K Ultra HD resolution and upscaling technology, picture quality is always pristine – even with films shot at a lower resolution. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ combine to create amazingly vibrant colours, so movies leap off the screen and you never miss a single detail. Because this is a smart TV, you’ll be able to watch programmes live and on catch up with various streaming services. Searching for something to watch couldn’t be easier too, thanks to the SAPHI dashboard which makes navigating apps a breeze. And the innovative Ambilight casts the colours from your screen onto the wall around it as you watch, so you can totally immerse yourself in the experience.

We want you to fully enjoy your new TV, so please be careful when unpacking it – pull it out of the box using the edges so that you don’t damage the screen. If you need to return your TV for any reason, we just ask that you don’t pack the plug in front of the screen as it could damage the TV in transit.

This is the 65PUS6754, it’s likely IPS, so black levels not as good as the 50/58” models. Also no Android, this runs the much maligned Saphi operating system.

I'm really tempted by these TVs but there's always deal breakers!

Android TV is absolutely terrible. I have it on my Sony and just turning the volume up and down takes such a long time to react, not to mention all the faults with Android getting stuck between screens, poor performance and WiFi glitches.

I'd pay extra to NOT have Android TV it's that poor. We have Roku's and Amazon Fire stick everywhere as at least they work!
Honestly Android on a TV is still very slow, you are better off getting a cheaper TV and simply plugging a streaming box/stick with a decent processor in the back. Eg. Roku Streaming Stick +

The premium for Android built in isn't worth paying.

Surely that depends on the TV?

My shield Android TV box (2016) is still rapid, surely some modern tvs should be as fast as that now?

I believe when it's in a separate box it seems to work relatively well as it's not controlling all the TV's functionality. Bear in mind in as an actual TV it has to control everything both hardware and software from the picture & sound controllers / drive units, volume, colour & sound controls, WiFi, EPG, channels and sources and much more. When it's all in one box the manufacturer should be able to get it right.

Clearly when it's in a TV the manufactures and Google don't offer wide enough support to make it work correctly with the various different pieces of hardware. Android TV has caused so many people to not buy Sony's due to the issues. This was happening across all years they used Android.

Yes. 65"+ tvs have come down a lot in the last Year or is it because of the Virus?
