Make the most of OLED’s stunning quality, with the Ambilight-equipped Philips 65OLED804.

P5 Pro Perfect Picture Engine for top quality images
The Philips P5 Pro Perfect Picture Engine takes you to the next level of picture processing. Maximising OLED’s natural talents of strong contrast and vivid colour, this Philips 65 inch TV delivers incredible realism with natural skin tones and textured landscapes. 5000 PPI motion processing produces smooth, blur free motion, making this TV ideal for fast-moving sports events and action films.

Total immersion with Ambilight 3-sided
Unique to Philips, Ambilight technology expands the picture’s presence, giving a more immersive and engaging experience. With intelligent LEDs around the top and sides of the TV, colour from the picture is cast into the room – in real time. Colour, vibrancy and excitement move beyond the screen and into your living room to bring you a viewing experience beyond the ordinary.

OLED TV
Delivering the ultimate picture quality, this Philips TV uses OLED technology. Unlike conventional LED TVs, OLED doesn't need a backlight. Each pixel makes its own colour and light. When they are turned off, they are completely black. With deeper blacks you get enhanced colours and astonishing contrast that allows you to enjoy the purest, most lifelike image.

Get the best from HDR with HDR10+ and WCG 99%
For the highest quality picture, HDR10+ offers scene-by-scene HDR mastering for the truest, most accurate HDR picture technology to date. With HDR10+ each scene is optimised, meaning the maximum amount of detail is shown – even in the brightest or darkest moments. Combined with Wide Colour Gamut at 99%, this Philips OLED TV produces stunning image realism. The 65OLED804 also supports standard HDR10 and HLG formats.

Dolby Vision for dramatic imaging
As well as supporting HDR10+, the 65OLED804 is also compatible with Dolby Vision - a leading format in Hollywood and cinemas around the world. Dolby Vision also adjusts the picture to take full advantage of each display's characteristics and presents an optimized picture for each scene in specially mastered content.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in, the Philips 65OLED804 decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. Featuring a built-in 2.1 speaker set-up with subwoofer and a 50 watt amp, it provides powerful, well-rounded sound.

Android TV for smart TV
In a complicated world of catch-up TV, Android TV makes sense of it all. Using a clear, intuitive interface, Android lets you effortlessly switch between Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and many other services. Android lets you pick up where you left off in the latest series or check out new movie releases – all without getting lost within complicated menus.

Voice control with built-in Google Assistant and works with Alexa
Working via the built-in Android system, Google Assistant helps you find content, apps and even controls compatible smart home devices, such as the Philips Hue lighting system. All this is available by simple voice command. Alternatively, connect your Amazon Echo or similar Alexa device and use voice commands via Alexa.

Google Store and Philips app gallery
The Google Play store and Philips app gallery go beyond traditional TV programming to bring you a big online collection of movies, TV, music, apps and games. 16GB of expandable memory means there’s plenty of room to store all your favourite content and to install more apps.

Fully connected
Four HDMI sockets make it easy to connect a Blu-ray player, games console, TV set-top box and other device. All sockets are HDMI 2.0 version with HDCP 2.2, making this TV compatible with UHD Blu-ray players and most 4K HDR streaming services. Other connections include twin USB sockets, featuring recording to a compatible USB device. Throw in an optical connection for a soundbar/base plus headphone socket and you've everything you need from your new TV.

Get totally immersed in the action, with the Philips 65OLED804.

Good price. However Costco deal is better. Heat added anyway.

I've been watching the Costco price, but waiting to pull the trigger, mostly because of the Richer Sounds 6 year guarantee. 0% finance also available on this for anyone who needs it.
This better than the C9 then :/
Wish I had more money than sense!
£50 off with code tv50
The 854, same model just with different stand, can be got from Costco for £1690 plus £15 for membership if needed.

Not better but in my opinion no worse. Each has their own merits.
C9 will do hdmi 2.1 & 120hz if you are into gaming may be worth it with new consoles due next year, I was interested in the Philip's but they have confirmed hdmi 2.1 & 120hz will not be supported.
Have missed out on a C9 deal due to waiting for a response

I’m actually wondering if the lack of 2.1 and 120hz is gonna make any difference at all for a while? I know next gen consoles are looking at 2.1 n all, but is there going to be a lot of software requiring this for the first couple of years? I mean, most people will only have hdmi 2.0b and won’t all be upgrading to LG (the only set with 2.1 I think), so I’d imagine 99.9% of the releases will be catering for the masses. I’d probably upgrade my tv after about 3-5 years anyway as tech changes rapidly, so a set like this would probably work out fine, with the bonus of ambilight for those years too.
I’d imagine those buying the C9 will upgrade after the same time too rather then keeping hold just because it has 2.1 and 120hz, as by then all new TVs will have it plus probably many other benefits, and maybe micro led will even be a similar price or cheaper.
