Pixel Precise Ultra HD and Micro Dimming for optimised picture
Unique picture processing sets the Philips apart from its rivals. Pixel Precise Ultra HD delivers smoother motion and life-like picture depth. Micro Dimming analyses the picture across thousands of zones and adjusts it accordingly. This maximises the contrast for life-like images and realism.

My first post so be nice please. Was £699 until yesterday when they reduced it to match Currys & AO but here you get the Richer Sounds 6 year guarantee. They did change it to in-store only but I called the Birmingham branch today & they didn't have any so they arranged free delivery to me from the warehouse, bonus! as I wasn't sure how I was getting this in the boot of an Audi TT! I've been losing the plot looking at so many TV's but went for this one as it supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 & HLG plus Dolby Atmos sound. Asked if they thought it would be reduced on Black Friday & his response was "they're almost paying you to take this & if it does get reduced they will refund the difference".
Now that's 3 TVs im stuck between or wait until Black friday to see if anymore will drop.... this TV, the one with Ambilight - 65PUS6814/12 or the Samsung for 524 on ebay/crompton with their code - UE65RU7020..... need a proffesional Telly buff to help me haha

I feel your pain. I actually feel a little less stressed now I've made a decision lol I'm no professional but I was going to go with the Toshiba 60" at Argos for £449 but was worried about it being made to a budget as it was an Argos only set. Then I thought to myself if someone offered me an extended warranty (I never buy them) for £30 a year I would go for it so a liitle maths £30x5 years + £449 = £599 so for £20 less I got the 6 year warranty & a bigger screen with what looks like quite a good spec, certainly better than the Tosh.
Lol at trying to fit one of these in a TT you'd have zero change of that, the boot on them is shocking, doubt you'd even get a 40" in there!
Not buying the Toshiba was a good call, I got my mams Auntie one around January and its crap, the operation system on it is terrible maybe because I'm used to Samsung and LG, but its a horrible setup.
I'm in the same boat and a bit sick of looking for a TV... When I've mentioned the one I like people just keep saying buy an OLED or buy this one its only a grand more
Sigh, more tv choices, looks like we're in the same boat, cba to call them tho, so will wait for something else.
