This is the TV I've been waiting for. Think it can go lower this Black Friday? Maybe some site matches it with Quidco cash back or so?

I’d bite at this price as it’s a cracking deal
I've the 55" version and love it, SkyQ UHD and XB1X look great on it, don't think I could buy a non-ambilight TV ever again!
Hmm warranty ?
Popped over to AO to check warranty options there and it's out of stock so.. maybe like the guys say above, best to just jump on it..

Get the 7303, it’s much better
Is there a input lag on gaming?

Yes it’s very low

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-50PUS7303-12-50-Inch-Ambilight/dp/B0794ZR5QK?th=1Bit over £100 more. What's the difference between the two. Better screen quality?

Android TV for a start but most importantly, it has the P5 processor which is on their high end tv’s and is supposed to be excellent for image quality all round. The tv itself is made from better material also. The extra money is well spent.

I don't notice any on FPS like Destiny, COD, Titanfall on Xbox
I have it on Gaming mode and all processing off

It’s Amazon you don’t need a warranty. I returned a tv last week that was 3 years old.

What are the real differences that you'd notice? trying to figure it out

The software is better for a start the 7303 has android tv. Much more important though is that the P5 chip is in the 7303 which is on their most expensive sets. This gives you better image quality all round. Also the tv finish is made from better materials. The extra cost is a no brainer. 7303 is in a different league.

If you get a fire stick to look after the app side of things surely the picture quality can’t be too much different

Picture quality is dependent on the technology behind it. The 7303 model is much better.

Build quality and appearance are the same even down to the weight, in fact the only major differences being the Android OS and the P5 processor.

Might be a daft question but would the 55" version if the 7303 have the same better tech?

Yes that’s what I’ve ordered
I have been researching all the mid range Ambilight tvs recently. The 7303 or 7383 (same tv only the frame is a different colour) has 1600 PPI which Philips call picture performance index I believe, this only has 1100

Even if it is this tv is still better than most tvs under a £1000 picture wise.

Thank you.

I had an early Philips lcd set many years ago (about 7-8) and it had ambilight then. Trust me, it’s a gimmick that makes a big difference to your viewing experience in a really positive way. Really draws your eyes into the screen more and makes for a more immersive experience, and I’m sure it’s way more advanced now than it was then. Seems like these Philips TVs are pretty awesome except for plenty of complaints about the Android operating system on some models.
My Sony TV has got ambilight, I placed a table lamp behind it, works a treat. lol

Don't worry it's really not- bought ambilight last year and don't think I can get one without now
Considering this for 4K gaming (PS4 /Ps5)
Any thoughts ?

Should get the Philips hue if you haven't already. Good deals on amazon. Could have a spot light either side and add to the ambilight atmosphere. Some good videos on YouTube with the TV... Some are terrible (chavy) but if done correctly, looks amazing.
Back in stock
Out of stock again from AO. Amazon have these back in stock but are selling fast...I think they will sell the remaining 7 which they have in stock! Can't see this TV going any cheaper tomorrow since it's a complete bargain at £675.
What's amazon guarantee like?
