Same as any set near this price range. You won’t get proper HDR for under around £1200 for 65”. This set has a lot going for it apart from that.
Excellent tv for the price. And those who talk of good HDR at this price point for a 65", please go and sleep,as you obviously have just woken up. LoL

I'm glad you pointed that out.... Thank you.
Love the ambilight system....seriously reduces eye strain, makes blacks look blacker, makes the screen seem like the next size up, more immersive.

I don't doubt that I'm just offering some advice for those wanting it for hdr purposes.

I just wish they could deliver a TV on spec with the proper flagships as the ambilight will sell them all.

The specs and reviews are great for these tellies but Phillips Android tv software is mega unstable. They randomly turn on and off at will, mine turned its elf in in the middle of the night a number of times making me think I was being robbed
Brilliant TV,better than the Samsung js8500 it replaced, the only issue I've had is it sometimes stops a show halfway through watching through kodi (from my own Nas)

mine is not this model but having a usb hard drive to record plugged in drove mine to the edge of an emotional breakdown. "am i on or off?". its little red light just blinked. i had to give up on recording via USB and it recovered. it stil dwaddles to any conclusion though, mine seems to suffer from doubt.

That might not be an issue with this Philips TV, it seems like it could be a Kodi issue depending on the version etc...
