old deal, but still hot santa got me one nice clean shave too bargin

so hot for me

Thanks, reserved last one in Weymouth, as going there this avo....asked for Argos Vouchers as my last shaver on last legs.
Heat Added

This was going for 33 Pound early last year when I bought it from Amazon. I have used Phillips for more years than I care to remember, this one is not one of their best. Basically a gimmick for petrolheads.

I have used Philips shavers for years too, and it seems to be be very much one of their best... certainly when compared to any model for less than 50 quid, and one that is not the new "Arcitec" style ones. (Which many complain dump the cut hairs all over!) When I saw this posted elsewhere, I rushed to buy it as I had "promised" a shaver to someone as a present. Agreed it looks a little bit naff, although not as bad as the last WIlliams model; and it isn't something most people use in public anyway!

This has the series 8 heads, so without a time machine to go back a year (although was this not the other "Williams" model Philips shaver, with the more angular body, & other heads?) how else do you get a Philishave with 1 hour charge, & series 8 heads that is waterproof for 43 quid NOW?

Apologies, mine was the model before this.

Personally, I'd go for a Braun but a decent deal nonetheless.

I managed to reserve and collect one of these Philips F1 razors. It just does what it says on the tin. No complaints here!

Replacement Series 8 heads (you need 3) cost more than the shaver cost....go figure........Not that I hope to need any for some time yet.

Come with a 2 year guarantee too...

Williams F1 isnt really a great tag any more though, does this mean its near the back of the shaver grid and tends to have a lot of kamikazee first lap crashes?

I've got one of those too. Pretty awful isn't it?

Chucked mine away last month, rubbish shaver!!

OOS at all my local stores - nice price though so voted hot

out of stock anywhere near Rugby and Coventry

Out Of Stock.

Good deal if anyone managed to get one.

I got this last april for 44.95 at Argos. (Exact same model)

Its a fine shaver for me. I normally rinse top with water before use. Rechargable and it works from the mains too. I have no complaints!!

The fact it is an F1 shaver makes no real difference. Just a nice label.

For the price its worth the purchase.

:x as with nearly every argos deal out of stock in the london area it seems.

After 4 days, most real hot deals are long gone, so I am not surprised!

I got one, to replace a similar model, great shaver and great price....can't believe comments and angry faces, good deals go fast.

I think the trick is you have to look at the NEW deals, and do it often, or you get a lot disappointed, very often - trouble is, then you find yourself looking in at the site TOO much, and it "takes over!"
