Thought I’d collate into one deal rather than spam y’all.

I currently have the 7303 and have been waiting for this to drop and I think this is best price across the range. Quite a few (apart from the 65”) are also in the Warehouse 20% off deal so some serious savings if you don’t mind a bit of risk.

Philips 43PUS7304 - £283.10 (Used - Very Good 20% off included)

Philips 50PUS7304 - £399.30 (Used - Very Good not in 20% off)

Philips 55PUS7304 - £357.12 (Used - Very Good 20% off included)

Philips 65PUS7304 - £572 (Used - Good not in 20% off)

Good deal for a flawed TV

Why is it a flawed tv out of interest?

Dodgy UI (stick a Fire Stick in to solve that) and not true black. However, for the price it's great value for money - you're getting a cheap midrange TV that's marketed as a value for money top end TV.

If I wanted to buy a 55" TV for under £400 I'd snap up that warehouse offer.

My iPlayer doesn't work, can't even install itv or all4.
The way I think about it... I paid £250 for a dumb TV with ambilight. Otherwise would be returning

I think that's why Amazon have so many returns...

Hmm, I have the 7303 and was planning on ordering this however I haven’t yet. Mine works fine with iPlayer currently however I have an Xbox, PS4 and sky so if it doesn’t I suppose I have other options.

For me it’s the ambilight that makes this the tv for me
Used very good. Says may have small scratches or cosmetic blemishes. Anyone know if this means the screen could be scratched? Can deal with a scratch round the back but not on the screen.
Also OP your description says 2018 model but aren't these 2019?

Amazon warehouse buying can be a lottery and the only real way to find out is to order I'm afraid. Of course the 30 days return makes it risk (but not effort!) free.

Completely agree. I’ve had stuff described as good that is still in a sealed box. I sometimes wonder if they just gradually lower the stock rating if it doesn’t sell. I’ve also had like new that is missing important components on some items they’ve now started showing photos of the exact item you’re going to get which is interesting. Although these aren’t high quality and are few and far between 🙈

Thank you - I didn’t write that. I think someone has changed it to help but I can no longer edit. Hopefully a mod will be able to amend it to 2019/2020
Got the 55 on used very good, had 3 options and the description on the one I got was just damaged packaging, fingers crossed

Ahh excellent! From all the research I’ve done you’re in for a good tv. My problem was going up to 65” and now I couldn’t go back to 55” 🙈

I have had intermittent problems with iPlayer opening then immediately crashing, the fix was to select a bbc program than had just finished through the TV guide and voila, iPlayer would run perfectly. However since this months software update iPlayer now runs perfectly for me anyway.

Do you have a series 7 or 6?
For my series 7 all I get is black screen

I can’t remember I’m afraid, looks like this one but don’t think it’s got the P5 chip so maybe a 6.

Thought so, no android no problems...
Just thought I'd throw this out there if any of you are unsure about taking the risk of the condition from Amazon

55" available here, grade A1 (slightly different model) for £399 with a 12 month warranty... laptopsdirect.co.uk/gra…asp

I've got a Philips 507303 and a hisense 50B7500.

Hands down the Philips is better in every way.
Picture quality, user interface, sound.

Wish I hadn't bothered with the hisense

Try rebooting - you need to pull the power out to do this.
gone for the 55"....thanks OP!!

Ta, reckon it will be right. Not bothered about some reported app issues. Definitely would've got the 65 but we've a huge wall unit and the gap is about 70 so my thinking was that it would've negated the benefits of the ambilight with a very small gap each side.

This is very true! It’ll look so good in that space! I’ve got hue colour bulbs as up lights too so now have surround lighting. Star was was epic with it!

I bought the 58PUS7304 from Costco. Iplayer works fine but you need system update and restart.
Agree disappointed there's no ITV or all4!

Quality of image once calibrated is fantastic! Very black blacks and uhd is superb. No complaints re image quality from me.
If you search the deals relating to the costco ambilight deals around Christmas there's fair bit of commentary on calibration and how to update the system

Will try it.
At the moment I'm not very happy with it. Both Kodi TV and HDhomerun client stutter every few seconds which is highly annoying.
Other than that it's fine but nothing too wow.
My 2015 Sony bravia is better at 1080p (to my untrained yokel eye)
Now £372 for the 43”
