Actifry is better but more expensive. With the Tefal actifry you don't have to shake the basket.

Ive bought the Actifry at first but didnt like it, my sister bought the Phillips and she loved it so i bought one on Black friday 2017 from Tesco for £50 and use it 3 or 4 times a week and would highly recommend it.

Ive never shaked the basket and everything cooks fine.

The Philips you've to shake the basket when you're cooking i.e chips, chicken etc etc. If you're not then you're not using it right.
It's crap. Get an actifry. I find it dries chips out and the need to shake it constantly is highly frustrating.
What size it this? How many litres does it actually hold?
I have got this model and I am very happy with it. Use it every day and wouldn’t be without it. Great price by the way. Never seen it this cheap.

Very good, worth the money. I have two. Don’t ask.

But I really must ask. Why two?

Food always comes out fine from crispy chips to flaky sausage rolls, chicken nugets, battered fish even stick a soft roll in there for a minute or two just to crisp it up a bit, never had badly cooked food in it once and never shaked the basket once.

If you fill up a basket 3/4 full with frozen chips and never shake the basket, the chips will come out not cooked evenly. You must be cooking for one, right?

No im cooking for 6 but i use a low heat setting and the last 4 minutes i turn up full, works everytime, it was a tip from a friend.

If all the food are clumped together you need to shake the basket to loosen them right? You using low heating setting and for the last 4 min turn up to full won't help..... because the food are still stuck together. Are you telling me that little tip will magically make everything cooked evenly?

Years ago ( 6 maybe 7) I was researching the two options and kept seeing that the actifry had a problem with the heating element (or equivalent) burning out or failing after about twelve months.

I opted for the Air Fryer like the one posted here and have used it weekly, sometimes daily, since then; it has been one of the best things Ive bought for the kitchen without doubt.

Tefal may (should) have sorted the issues out with their device since I was looking to be fair but I can honestly recommend this Air Fryer 100%
Ive had this for over 7 years. Use it weekly. Best kitchen gadget. Love it.
I paid £150 originally. Every penny worth spent.
Grab a handful of frozen chips...……………...bung em in...………………..10 minutes later...……….perfect chips...……….plus loads of other uses...………..get one !
Which store was this spotted in anyone?
Hot
Lichfield- but it’s also advertised at this price on their website
Checked most stores central Scotland and there is massive amounts of them NOT in stock uggghhh not even in warehouses
Wild goose chase. None of the shops have it in the north west. Not even the warehouse
what model is this?
Have the Philips and its great but hate the none stick basket which is impossible to keep clean. Looking for a new one with nonstick basket.
I love mine
Using it for nearly 2 years, the output is very good. Yes, cleaning the basket sometimes is bit difficult due to mesh inside. Have to soak it in warm water and then into dishwasher.

Yes it does, how does the middle of a cake cook then ? Because you have the heat at ghe right setting so everything cooks evenly, its not rocket science.

It dries stuff out if you leave food in there too long...strange that

I've got two as well. The other one is still unused in it's box waiting for the first one to die, but it's refusing to do so...they are very strong!!
This is the best price I have seen since Black Friday 2015! Well worth it!
