I stumbled across this whilst looking for something to replace my Actifry.

Philips Air fryer in black, £89 delivered to store (or £3 delivery).

If you use the £10 off £50 spend for new customers (I just registered with a new email address) it brings it down to £79
Code : TDX-PKMW or TDXR-FHMR

Credit goes to Akins1 and clairevblackburn for codes

why are you replacing an actifry?

Im on my second Actifry, I do love it . The first one, the motor went and Tefal sent me a brand new one but this time the paddle has snapped in the dishwasher.
Ive debated buying a new paddle but my Actifry itself is grotty from so much use so i decided to have a look at these.

Ive read the comparisons and these seem to have better reviews. The main thing that made me go for the Philips is that it says its doesn't mash the food up whereas sometimes with the Actifry the food can get mashed by the paddle.

I cant pick between this or an actifry whats better

That was quick!

They only just came back in stock.

Thats the trouble Ive had , after reading the reviews Ive gone for this. Its cheaper too ! Ill let you know how I get on

This is a very good price indeed and maybe the cheapest as I bought mine at about 120 quids that time.

I THOUGHT IT WAS THE NEW MAC PRO.

it doesnt mash any food because it doesnt have a paddle. You have to rotate the chips yourself twice during cooking which sort of defeats the object imho.

Personally, I would pay £10 for a new actiftry paddle rather than £80 for this philips

But I find with the actifry that when cooking things like parsnips and onion rings they get stuck under the paddle and get mashed ! So either way im having to shake the food , might just ditch both and go to the chippy !:)

Got one of these the other week from currys, it's great.
