Compact, healthy, fast cooking. Excellent for quick reheats too.

Amazon haven't price matched but I'm positive they will soon.

Using patented Rapid Air technology, the Philips HD9220 Airfryer enables you to fry, bake, roast and grill tasty snacks and meals. By using little to no oil, the Phillips Air Fryer allows you to control your day to day oil intake.

Easy to clean, safe and economical for daily use, the Airfryer has an integrated timer that allows you to pre-set cooking times of up to 30 minutes. There is also an auto-off function which includes a ready sound indicator, while the fully adjustable temperature control allows you to pre-set the best cooking temperature for your food up to 200 degrees.

The combination of a fast-circulating superheated air, a starfish design and an optimal heating profile lets you fry a variety of delicious meals quickly, easily and more healthily. For added convenience, the removable non-stick coated drawer and the food basket are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

Saw this instore at Orpington, I've had mine for 4/5 years, it's brilliant.
Very good buy.We use it nearly everyday in my home.
Love my Air Fryer
I've heard this is really good but I think folk are kidding themselves when they say how good the chips are. You can't beat an old fashioned fryer, everything in moderation and you can't go wrong. tesco.com/dir…065
Glad to see it is back down to the 'correct' price again.
Is it teflon inside?
Yup its been stuck at £90 at Amazon etc, so this is a nice £20 off. Its one of the few kitchen gadgets... actually its the only kitchen gadget that has stayed. Even the Tassimo will get the boot once the pods are done.

Yeah good old home made chips are best in a deep fryer. but "frozen" chips/fries etc in the air fryer are good.
It's a great bit of kit, I use mine regularly. Got mine for £50 though, just before Xmas (Amazon)
good find op, heat added

Stuff that you'd normally grill or put in an oven. We've found it's great for thing like sausages because the fat falls through to the tray below, which is easily cleaned, and you don't get the smoke that you can get with a grill with fatty food. Pork chops work well too. And I do have to mention chips again, if only because it cooks the big fat frozen ones in about half the time of my oven.

I don't have dishwasher. I just soak the basket inside the bowl attachment with warm water & liquid wash, thereafter, use my brush to wash off the dirts.
Get yourself a big bag of Smart Price chips for 75p from Asda. Cooks them 'takeaway style' from frozen in as quick as 8 minutes.
I purchased the Tower airfryer from B&m for £49.99. Does the same job....3 years warranty and more capacity.

Excellent!!! Been waiting for this to go on offer, just ordered! Nice one op!
I've got a halogen oven, is it worth getting an airfryer? I've not tried to do chips in halogen yet.
Can you cook frozen burgers? Spicy chicken wings etc. Salmon fishcakes etc.

Have to say, I am tempted. Thanks OP.

Yes yes and yes!!
I use mine to cook 'proper' chips as well. Just toss the cut chips in a little olive oil then cook. Not quite like chips fried in lots of oil...but not bad at all..

You can use it for loads of stuff. You can even use it for left over pizza and it heats it nice and crispy.

You can't cook things like frozen burgers in it as it smokes like mad - it can literally fill the whole house with smoke if you do. It's a great machine and you will use it constantly, but be aware there are plenty of things you can't put in it as they end up producing loads of white smoke - there is no filter.
These are great!!

Microwave heating pastry will taste soggy and rubbery, a minute in the airfryer and it tastes and has the texture that it has just freshly come out of oven. Same for day old slices of pizza.
