Second cheapest is amazon at £116.99
great machines - got one for xmas - cooked all sorts in it - quick, easy and better results than the oven alot of the time.
has anyone seen this demoed on the gadget show recently?

I'd stay well clear of this at ANY price - what this thing produces looks nothing like chips.. dunno how it does with any other type of food you might want to cook in this though.

Just my personal opinion though.. not voting either way on this deal
It's terrible, nothing like actual frying. We have one just sitting in the cupboard doing nothing.
I saw it on the Gadget Show, it won, best tasting chips of the three tried. I didn't see what the chips looked like coz I was too busy looking at Polly Anna! Hot for me, so is the deal.
i've done chips, roast potatoes, falafal, hash brown. all turned out great. need to follow the instructions doing it first at low temp then at high temp. its never going to be a good as actual frying - but its a healthy aternative - and a very good one at that.

I thought they said it was the best of the 3 tested and produced the tastiest chips, although they did look a bit weird.

yeah, the look put me well off..
a brilliant bit of kit
easy to use and to clean.
i purchased one off ebay at £75

if you make real chips, you need to spray oil on them otherwise they will not crisp.
this is great and mine going strong after a year of use. chips are not as good as frying, but you use about a tea spoon of oil.

eveyrthing else like salmon parcels, fish fingures even chops take a fraction of time and come out great

who cares what the chips look like

I see you ignored the fact that the chips were voted best across the board on the gadget show
