Ordered...believe it or not! Was looking for a deal on this for a while!!!!

Ordered....... Great find

Great price for a great product. Heat added.

How small is the actual compartment? It looks rather small, will it take a couple of chopped up potatoes?

I can cook 2 whole baked potatoes in mine. Will take up to about 4 average potatoes copped up as wedges/chips.

I want to order this but not with Currys, with past experience I have found their after care service absolutely appalling!

I think this is coming up on a Amazon deal fairly soon this morning. Agree with you about Currys muddypie.

very good. bought the analogue version at 89 two weeks ago
Darn!!!

I doubt it, amazon don't even have this exact model in stock and warehouse deals sells for £150

For those who can't afford this here's a cheaper alternative (and best ever price on Amazon) amazon.co.uk/Tow…8KE

Cheaper to run than a fan oven

Still expensive as this normally sells at £69 at tesco and currys. I have purchased the advanced version of this one with digital display and other accessories for £79 last year, but nevertheless it's a good deal for an excellent product.

Apologies as the link was showing old version earlier and now it shows the new version. excellent deal. cheers

and don't forget to register it with Phillips for 2 year worldwide warranty

Quicker than a fan oven. Easier to clean than a fan oven. No need for a tray to put the chips on either

These are brilliant for cooking steak.

Use my airfryer all the time, brilliant device. I only have the version with a clockwork timer but it was the same money at £80 however the capacity of mine is 2.2kg almost 3x the capacity of this. Ok for Kate Moss on a diet or the Warwick Davis household but seems a bit limiting in capacity for most households.

Looks like a single piece of bread in the tray.

We decided on getting a halogen oven, £25 and more versatile. Slimming world chips are a breeze just cut chips a few quick sprays with fry light and 20 mins in oven. Also cook full chickens beautifully, can`t do that in an actifry.

Still good price if that's all you want to cook.

Good product, good for one person portion but it always goes on sale at this price so I can't say this a deal price. Even same price on Amazon. Also i think the better buy for familiers would be the Philips HD9240/90 as the compartment size is a lot bigger.

it's on amazon lightning deals now same price :-) amazon.co.uk/dp/…_lk

It's not the same Airfryer on Amazon. That's a 9220 with analogue controls. This one is a 9230 with digital controls and an RRP of £20 more.

OP your under selling your own deal. This is in no way a small digital version of the HD9220, they are both the same size, this is just better. It's dearer in store, but you can still reserve and collect at this price, which I did about 2am.

Thank you, voted hot. Decided not to order though as want something with more capacity (",)

How long do chips take to cook?
I'd really like one but need a bigger one for family of 4

Great bit of kit.

10-15 minutes

Good deal, but OP has mislead others. It's not smaller than the older generation. Only digital and use less power, 1.3 KW vs old 1.4 KW.

I have the old one, recommend it. Can use it in many creative ways that never occur to you before.

What else can you use it for apart from making chips? Trying to justify getting one since I'm on a low carb diet

does the food taste as good as fried stuff in oil?

NOT such a great deal - capacity 800gms. Same as the Duronic one on amazon which is always around £69.99 +postage. Neater looking design, cooks same amount. Had mine for nearly 2yrs and one of best items I've ever bought.

Take a look on amazon as here's a new one which holds 1000gms at just £49.99. Few reviews at the moment but they are all much of a muchness.

got one already and I hate it you have to keep shaking the basket to turn the chips next one will defo be one with a paddle to turn them as they cook
