RRP 200 is a bit high but this seems cheaper than any other website

Technical Details

Use up to 80% less fat than a conventional fryer for the best-tasting chips, without the oil (for fresh chips add half a tablespoon of oil for extra taste)

Fully-adjustable temperature control allows you to pre-set the best cooking temperature for your food
Its integrated timer allows you to pre-set cooking times of up to 30 minutes. The auto-off function includes a "ready" sound indicator

Comes with an inspiring recipe booklet, written by a culinary expert, that contains 30 delicious, easy-to-prepare recipes including brownies and quiches

Integrated air filter keeps your kitchen fresh and clean while the removable drawer and food basket feature a non-stick coating and are dishwasher-safe

I have the Tefal actifry already and use it quite often.

Seems to have quite a few good reviews

not sure about the newer actifry machines but the old ones i have needs to be looked after for safety reasons (i.e. cleaned regularly and not left unattended for long periods of cooking). This Philips version has a Temperature setting and also an auto-off timer which the old actifries did not have.

i really like the actifry shame it doesn't have the timer. also there is always a niggling thought that one day the actifry will set my house on fire..

Same price at Dixons

Isn't this just a powerful hairdryer, enclosed in a tub?

@CyBerman - Dixons can quote what they like if it's "Item Unavailable".
They may as well say 50p
