Seems to be the cheapest around at the moment, and the reviews give it 4.5 stars at Amazon where it's currently priced at £120. ** UPDATE: Amazon have now price matched **

These are great if you like tasteless chips.

Good price though.
0.8kg seems very small for the price
we have one of these - excellent
My wife would not do without this! HOT
Will i be able to do frozen onion rings and frozen fries in this - sorry for stupid q .
Thanks so much for posting this OP, had been deliberating for some time to either get the Acti Fry or Air Fryer, the Philips Airfryer seems to have got better reviews and this is the cheapest that I've seen it so easy decision for me to go ahead with the purchase. Thanks again

Yes can't fault mine best thing i have bought in years
How's this for load and cooking time?

I mean, will it serve pretty much the same as a traditional fryer?

All fine, but if you have to wait far longer between cooking times...

Basket is quite small and you have to spray with fry light or everything tastes like cardboard.
hope amazon price match, ive submitted a price match to them

Am I missing something? Why not just order from Currys than faff with a price match with Amazon?
i prefer amazon, for returns etc, and when things go wrong.
plus i get nectar points, and i have vouchers for amazon. each to there own anyway
This is only suitable for a single person or couple. It's FAR too small for any larger portions. That said, it's amazing.
I knw a daft question but will I lose weight if I use this,I just can't give up chips, lol and I've just had a baby

Great piece of kit! and a great price!!!
So much cheaper to run than a conventional oven. Heat added.
so its basically a fan assisted mini oven ?

Yes but if you need something quick and less.. You would be wasting more fuel and waiting longer on the traditional ovens.
I'd like to hear from someone who has used this AND the Tefal Actifry. How do they compare and do either of them produce chips that taste like they're fried. I'm concerned about ending up with another method of producing oven chips!

Its excellent though it has small basket but better..
Not convinced lol but great price
Amazon have price matched
Excellent price now. Was going to purchase one from Amazon last week so I'm glad I didn't. A friend has one and makes the most amazing spicy chili chips in his using a simple recipe.

It is a very simple rule. If you expend more energy than you consume your mass will decrease. Buying in to gimmicks whilst all the while over eating will not help you lose weight.
Now 89 on amazon
Excellent piece of kit and well worth the price!

Heat added - Thanks OP.

But if you used the microwave oven's oven, it would be the same wouldn't it? And you could stuff more in.

i dont like currys but deal is not bad
can you get 10% quidco on this as well?
The irony of adding heat

also worth noting you can cook loads of stuff in here, not just chops, so chops veg anything within reason!
this or the tefal actifry?
chips we cook are excellent from it!
