Great detail

Enjoy incredible clarity in everything you see with the Philips 43PUS7334/12 43" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV. With HDR and a resolution four times better than Full HD, you'll get bright colours and sharper images.

It'll upscale your older shows and movies too, letting you rediscover your favourites as you've never seen them before.

Be immersed with Ambilight

From movies to games, get more immersed in your content with Philips Ambilight. Intelligent LEDs around the edges of the TV panel cast the colours on your screen onto the wall behind it and into your room, creating a stunning effect that will make your screen feel bigger and give every show a tailored, real-time light show.

Every picture enhanced

With Philips' P5 Perfect Picture Engine, every scene is enhanced for a brilliantly vivid image. Finer details are deeper, skin tones look more natural, and motion appears perfectly smooth - ideal for fast paced sports and movies. You'll get a full sensory experience that captures all the original richness of your content.

Convenience at your fingertips

Say goodbye to endless scrolling and use your voice to control your TV. With the in-built Google Assistant, whether you search for a movie on Netflix or find an app in the Play Store, all you need to do is ask. You can even control other Google Assistant compatible devices around your home, like smart light bulbs or the thermostat without even needing to get up.

My apologies - just looked at the size and range (Ambilight).
This or the Samsung RU7400..?

This was 1st on my wish list, the Samsung being second. Samsung is slightly better with regards to the specs of the tv. But the massive stand and overall aesthetic made the Philips more desirable for me personally. Plus ambilight of course. But Philips seem to have quite a few issues with regards to their OS, so if you’re looking to use the tv apps for watching shows, as opposed to a games console. You’re probably best off with the Samsung.

I had another Philips Android TV before I bought this one and whilst I never had any serious issues with the main apps, it wasn’t the fastest. Whenever there was any issues with anything like iPlayer or Netflix or prime video Philips would fix it pretty quickly with a firmware update. This new TV is way faster and a lot more enjoyable to use. There’s not a single glitch or hang anywhere, it’s brilliant. Also people complain about the lack of catchup apps but itv player and 5 on demand is now available in the play store. 4od seems to be the only major missing catchup app. None of this bothers me anyway as I only watch Netflix and amazon. I’d recommend this TV. The only negative I’ve found is latency is quite noticeable when connecting a computer to it, your mouse movement is very noticeably slow which was not the case on my previous tv. It’s probably not the best for gaming, and that’s with game mode turned on.

Decided to just contact them for a refund of the difference instead and save all the hassle of ordering another TV and return. Thanks for posting this, saved me 30 quid

Just nipped into Currys to look at the Samsung and wasn't really that impressed with it. Any idea where may have the Philips on display?

I took the plunge and bought the Philips. Unfortunately there don’t seem to be any in nearby stores because I could only opt for the delivery option. I’ve been in a few times the past few months and not seen one on display unfortunately. I watched a comparative video on YouTube which showed that the Samsung does slightly beat the Philips in terms of picture quality looking more ‘natural’, but the Philips is brighter and more vibrant in general so I’d prefer that anyway.
can you guys post some pictures and comment on quality of picture? have any of 43 size owners know what panel is there? dsplay spec says IPS but forums point to some cheapo unknown make?
great deal but shame no 5 year warranty
funny enough there is no display sets in shops like currys, john levis etc to compare, not sure if it because quality or false advertising of 1700pqi?

There’s a lack of 43’ display sets in general to be fair, unless it’s a Samsung or a Sony. Can’t believe they’re basically classed as small TVs! If I had the room for it I’d definitely have bought the 50’ though.
