Do I bite????? Heat added.
I recently bought the 55 version via Richer Sounds. If you ask, they might price match so you gain a 6 year guarantee.
Bought two! Panic buying.
Just posted this about 3 hours ago but hukd said it was already posted. So here it is. I have bought the same TV from richer sounds for £389 and waiting for delivery. Do you know if they pricematch. I have sent them an email.
Also could someone tell me how good is the TV picture quality. Is it better than what I would have bought from Asda, or other no-name TVs like techwood etc. Thanks.

Got reply from richer sounds, they said the warranty in Currys is 2 years and richer sounds is 6 years, so they won't honour the price match. Now, going by that logic, there can't be any price match ever because nobody offers 6 years warranty.
Thanks OP. I finally bit at this price.

My exact words! I got from richer sounds after, they wouldn't price match but took £20 off it so was £379 - still dont know if it was worth the extra £39 for 4 years warranty but hey ho its ordered now! X

That's good. I asked them to give me ANY kind of discount since I'm a first time buyer, and already feeling remorseful with the purchase. They still didn't budge. Bought mine for £389 with the tv10 code.

That sucks, mind you i rang for the price match they said no due to the warranty but said he could take £20 off it, I was cheeky and asked would he meet in the middle and take £30 but he was adamant that's the best he could do so I went for it, still looks a very good deal for the spec, plus i figured the extra warranty might be useful what with all the bells and whistles of the ambilight feature x
