I’ve been suggested the U7B over on AVF thanks to the Dolby Vision

Thanks, my thoughts as well. I've got one arriving Monday!
Personally would never touch a philips again unless it had a long warranty. Mines 2.5 years old and the backlight has failed twice and has now developed a fault with the inputs.
Ambilight is such bollocks. Utterly pointless.

This sort of opinion tends to be opined by people who have never owned a Philips ambilight tv, of course.....

Owned, no. But a friend has one which I've spent hours in front of. He likes it less than I do. It's been unreliable too, with 2 back light failures.
What's the best 43 inch TV out there right now I need one for my room
