Tv Back in-stock Enjoy incredible clarity in everything you see with the Philips 55PUS7334/12 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV. With HDR and a resolution four times better than Full HD, you'll get bright colours and sharper images.

It'll upscale your older shows and movies too, letting you rediscover your favourites as you've never seen them before.

Be immersed with Ambilight

From movies to games, get more immersed in your content with Philips Ambilight. Intelligent LEDs around the edges of the TV panel cast the colours on your screen onto the wall behind it and into your room, creating a stunning effect that will make your screen feel bigger and give every show a tailored, real-time light show.

Every picture enhanced

With Philips' P5 Perfect Picture Engine, every scene is enhanced for a brilliantly vivid image. Finer details are deeper, skin tones look more natural, and motion appears perfectly smooth - ideal for fast paced sports and movies. You'll get a full sensory experience that captures all the original richness of your content.

Convenience at your fingertips

Say goodbye to endless scrolling and use your voice to control your TV. With the in-built Google Assistant, whether you search for a movie on Netflix or find an app in the Play Store, all you need to do is ask. You can even control other Google Assistant compatible devices around your home, like smart light bulbs or the thermostat without even needing to get up.

With the Google Play store and the Philips App Gallery, there's loads of content for you to explore. Get movies, boxsets, music, apps, games, and more all directly to your TV – there's something to keep everyone happy
Nest Mini

Just like the original Mini, the Google Nest Mini is compact, discreet, and has the super-helpful Google Assistant built-in. This time round, the Nest Mini has bigger, richer sound with 2 x stronger bass and improved voice recognition. Asking for your 90s Ibiza playlist has never been easier.

It's got an eco-conscious side too, with a durable fabric top that's been made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

Here to help

Want to know if you'll need an umbrella the next time you head out? Ask Google, and the Nest Mini will let you know if any rain is expected. You can also get the latest sports, finance, news updates, and more. Stay organised and ask Google to manage your schedule. Mark dates in your diary, set reminders, alarms, and more.

Never be stuck for an answer. Ask for things such as translations, calculations, unit conversions, and anything else you want to know the answer to. You can even play games with all your family.

Control your smart home

Use your voice to dim the lights, adjust your smart thermostat, lock your front door, play music from WiFi-connected speakers, and more. Just say "OK Google" followed by your command, and Nest Mini will take care of it.

Stream TV shows and movies

Forget flicking through apps and menus. Tell Google exactly want you to watch on your Chromecast TV (sold separately) and you'll be watching in moments.

And if you've got other Chromecast speakers, you can group and sync them to play the same songs around your home.

Personalised for you

Google Nest Mini supports multiple users. That means it can give you a personalised experience by differentiating your voice from other people in your home. Just say "OK Google" and enjoy your own unique benefits from Google Assistant.

Been looking at this tv, sure I read on other threads it’s getting an update soon to add freeview play.

Was on AO for £470 last week. Assume there is some cashback options via Quidco etc.

Just waiting for the right time to bite!
This did come down to £449 due to a 10% TopCashback offer

Search for the tv model number, immediately shows previous curry’s deal and threads for same model but different sizes.
The 50" is more desirable as it is a VA panel in comparison to the IPS panel on the 55" if size is not much of an issue

The opposite

VA panels are junk.

Although ips might not have the best blacks they are leagues ahead in every other aspect.

Motion blur and judder make VA panels completely unwatchable to me.

Can't find any comments but does look like it's an issue with Android OS as 6 series state freeview play. An update is welcomed rather than a stick for catchup.

The only real benefit to IPS is wide viewing angles, so if you have a wide room and always watch in a bright environment then sure IPS may be a preferred option

It all depends on your needs, but to say VA panels are junk is a bit misleading. As has been said, choose IPS if you intend to watch the TV in a bright room and require wider viewing angles. IPS panels are best for TV shows and sports, and they also make good monitors. Choose VA if your preference is watching movies in darker environments. There are trade-offs with either panel.

IPS vs VA Panels (Rtings)
I’ve been researching recently and deciding between this and the Panasonic GX800. Anyone know how they compare?

I've been looking for a few months now, the only place i can see the 65" is Amazon where ist £999 at the minute. Its went as low at £845, but currently they have a deal for saving on a soundbar for the rest of the year so i dont imagine it will have a discount on top of that.

I have a 55" so cant justify paying for the same size, but this is certialy the best value proposition i have seen.

Argos eBay did it for £422.

And ebay seller stockmustgo was selling for £415 (with the eBay discount code). (Was also selling it for £300 refurb, maybe 50" though) The hotukdeal link I sent my mate doesn't work anymore, but I know 100% it was that price coz my work colleague bought one last week
I was very close to buying it myself and wish I did now.
