Hello,

I was about to buy this model this morning for £599 but got side tracked.

Went to continue with purchase to night and saw this reduced to £549.00.

You can get it as a bundle with GOOGLE Nest Mini (2nd Gen) - Chalk for £10 extra.

I believe the 50” has been posted, but not the 55” model. And the extra 5” are very important

It's in the pic, 3rd one down

Oh, I didn’t see that when I searched. Apologies

No worries mate. I agree on the extra 5.

my wife tells me it makes it too big and won't fit.

Little TMI. But thanks for sharing
I've took the plunge. Been waiting for a 55" or 58" ambilight and this seems like the best deal so far. Delivery free on the 2nd and I guess I can cancel should a better deal appear tomorrow

Cringe jokes only found on HUKD, free I guess.
Just to ask a silly question why are people wanting this model apart from the ambient light feature. Does this TV have proper HDR even in the 300/400 nits and Dolby Vision or HDR10?
I've got space for the 65 in a kitchen and whilst the breakfast bar is about 17ft away, the sofa is only 8ft. I'm actually wondering whether 65 is too big at such close range bearing in mind we have a 50 in the lounge at a similar distance. Ideally I'd go 60 inch but it's not an option. I don't have a Costco account personally for the 58 so 55 is the likely option. Can a TV be too big?

I would get exact measurements for this TV as the width and height of the frame will determine how it sits on the wall the 55-58 inch is the screen inside the frame. This will give you a better idea.

I couldn’t see online, but being a mid-high range Philips it’ll probably peak at 400nits. My 2016 model was rated for 350nits and gets about half. Even the fancy Samsung TVs rated at 2,000nits get about 1,500nits most of the time on average.

Dolby vision, Dolby Atmos, Android tv, Ambilight, full qwerty keyboard and trackpad on the back of the remote. What would you suggest?

I’ve been watching this too, and although this is made in 2019 I read somewhere it was part of their 2018 range, can anyone confirm this?

Also anyone know the panel type?
iv now purchased the 7734 in 50" and 55" and also the 8204 in 50" and 55", and now im going for a lye down, will see what 2 im going to cancel tomorrow.
Noticed 15% on TCB
Confusing that these tvs come with either Android or Saphi.
Saphi has ITV, CH4 and CH5 catchup TV, Android does not.

Does anyone know if the 55 inch panel is VA or IPS? ive heard the 50 and 65 is a VA panel? I'd rather have the 55 inch over the 50 though!

I'm kinda in the same boat. I can fit a 50 or 55 in the space I have, would rather the 55 for size but would rather a 50 for the VA panel - to be honest I'm not sure I'd be able to tell the difference between the VA and IPS.
The wall im using could take a 65 inch and we sit about 13 feet away. But I've had to put on my sensible head on and not splash out on a 65 inch c9! I love the idea of ambilight.

I do wonder I'd I'd notice the difference especially with some hue bulbs around the room will a slightly more grey black be noticable?
This one is Android.
55PUS6814/12 is Saphi with all catchup and Alexa.

6000 series is sephi, 7000 and up are android, android is google and alexa, and you can chromecast all the catchups to it from your phone,
Topcashback tracked at £8 instead of £127
EDIT it has tracked at the standard 1% instead of the special 15% they have, now iv seen the 58" one from costco for £470 with 5y warranty and no stupid cashback

Great price it would seem however I was debating TVs for weeks and this model was one of them, the only thing that stopped me was the fact that the information on these TVs online is minimal with barely any user feedback. Even videos online of these TVs are usually from abroad. Personally went for the Panasonic 820B with all the reviews and feedback online.
Gaaaaaaaah.
Don't know what to do, I really want to get ambilight TV but not sure how big an upgrade this would be over my hisense m7000.
Really want oled but this is a much more sensible price especially with top cashback
Please help! I would love opinions. The max size I can fit is 50". Currys have this model for £449 and I can get 10% cashback if I use my visa today. My other option is the Hisense 50u7b which John Lewis have for £399 with a 5 year guarentee (3 more than currys). If it was you, which would it be and more importantly why?
Just bought this, using topcashback.co.uk/ you get 15% cashback. £550 * 15% = £82.50. 550 - 82.50 effectively makes this £467.50. Get it while you can, a bargain imo
