I think they have got the model number wrong, it's an 8555.
Ooooo stuck an order on that, see what occurs
got the older 55, fantastic TV folks, the ambi is amazing. my mrs use to get headaches from our large older TV and this has helped her loads, perhaps the way the ambi comes in your vision takes the sharp edge of the 4k vibe out a little so abit softer on the eyes for anyone with eye problems.

and its looks good playing forza too lol

Do you have a delivery date yet? .
I would love to get a few reviews before i purchase the 70" once they are released.
This seems like a good deal. VA and true 10 bit panel albiet 50hz
The model is a correct model for this year and sold in many countries for around 750 to 800 euros

It'll be a 60Hz panel.
Oos (not surprised, great TV)
I didn't get this but it did spur me on to check amazon for the 43pus7304 for my sons room and its currently on offer @ £379 which I ordered so heat for that
Wish this year's models had hdmi 2.1
Taken a punt on this. Looks good for the money.

Couple of questions for those in the know if you don't mind:

1) what is Amazon's warranty like for TVs?

2) why is the Ambilight always 3 sided? Surely they could put it along the bottom as well??

3) my TV is mounted on a chimney breast and at 58" this would be almost the full width - do you think this would look stupid and would I lose the benefit of the Ambilight?

I wouldn't bother on point 3

Only get this if you can make use of the ambilight

Although if you are dead set on 58" there is not many options, the panasonic 800 would be a similar price and better picture
Does this model have the same qwerty keyboard on the remote as the model ending 555. Also what would be the difference between the two models?

Thanks.

I can give you my review though now if you like, even though I don't own it?
I don't game on it, I don't watch sport on it, I'm not a TV nerd, I'm not a pixel hunter and my wife doesn't even make an effort to find the HD variant of channels. Huge improvement on my 15 year old Saumsung LCD radiator. Highly recommended.

If you did it on the bottom you’d project shadows of all your cables, not a good look
Are there any Ambilight models that have hdmi 2.1 that are LED TVs?

In terms of gaming and future proofing for the PS5. I don't fully understand what benefit HDCP 2.3 gives. Is hdmi 2.1 only really for 120hz TVs?

Yep. 2.1 wouldn't really benefit a TV with a 60hz panel.

Does anybody know what model has the swivel stand...thx
People say it is OOS and the answer to that is NO it has never been in stock because it is a Brand New model and only released on the 6th July.

Don't forget the only manufacture who makes the 58" mVA panel is Panasonic and it was used in their 2016 DX 802b & 902b which has rave reviews and still the best LCD to date IMHO.

Order received
We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date.

Surely someone may have already asked but what's the input lag on these for using with PS4 pro FPS online games

Yes but you can't add this to basket now...hence the OOS comments
Ah right I just checked and you are correct and maybe Amazon have realised that they have made a pricing error and I'm hoping that they will honour those who have placed the order @ £525
anyone contacted amazon to ask them if this is going to be honored?
This item will be released on July 3, 2020.
^^^ taken from the amazon item page for all the other sizes for this model

No, why would you do that before it's even released?
