Incorrect, this is a price match to richer sounds, don't like Amazon tactics when it comes to this sort of price matching, 6 years warranty with Richer Sounds too. Cold
So many models with these TVs

What is the difference between this one on offer and the 2019 model that is 1300 on amazon now for the 65 inch

Huge price difference, must be a big difference? I’m no Tv expert look the same to me.

The price match is done by amazon and it's usually automatic. They seem particularly aggressive about targeting bricks and mortar stores. Richer Sounds have this TV on at 650 already and have for a few days, nothing needs to be done, just call up and buy it. I called yesterday and already low on stock so you might be too late though. Good luck getting one!

Oh I see so amazon will price match.

Why would you give up the 6 year warranty form richer sounds to buy from amazon?

Amazon have price matched. The post incorrectly states that Richer Sounds are 750. I suppose it is possible that Richer Sounds are price matching the 650 on Amazon, but since Richer Sounds were this price already several days ago, I doubt it.

No brainer with the 6 year warranty at the same price.
what likes the HDR ? any good on this ? is the brightness nits 1000 ?

The 7304 model has better backlighting (local dimming not edge lit) I believe, a better android OS, better remote and maybe a few other features. I got last years 7303 model which has been really good.
My advice would be to wait until Black Friday or Christmas. 7303 dropped to £799 last BF and I got it for £749 at Christmas, so this will possibly follow the same pattern.
The 75 inch model is £999 on a deal and the 65 is only £649, the pricing doesn't make much sense. I get £200 increase for 10 inches but this seems a little ridiculous for £350 or more. I bought the 75 inch anyway for £999 but still.

With screens you have to remember that the diagonal increase adds a lot more screen area. There is also a greater chance of failure during production on the larger screens, pushing cost up.

When I went from a 32" crt to 46" the difference was huge both where about £1200 but from the 46" to the 52" was about £400 but my it looked huge, next hoping to go from present 55" to a 75" . Imagine that if it was a 75"CRT and wall mounting, would need castle walls or vertical RSJ.
Just to add think the large difference between 65" and 75" will come down soon as more people go for these very large TVs and production prices come down.

I did some research on the Philips website:

65PUS6754/12 vs 65PUS6814/12

Everything looks identical except that the 6814 has:
Dobly Vision.
HDR10+.
1mm shorter stand height, and the stand weighs more.
Light Sillver in color, the other is Mid Silver.
Consumes an extra 20KWh per Year.

They both except from HDMI:
  • HDR10/HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma)
  • HDR10+/Dolby Vision
