Philips have their own picture performance index and give this a lowly 1200 which put me off previously.
Not seen it in the flesh though.
Anyone know the input lag on this? And what panel is it IPS? I dont know if I should choose this over the samsung ue75ru7100
Surely cold when you can get a 70in 7304 for 750
...is there any particular reason why there is no 75" 8-series model, anyone

Looking at the upcoming models they seem to be focusing on nothing bigger than 65" so if you want a 70" it's the 7304 from costco which I've just ordered or the 65" 8204 from currys
I personally wouldn't buy the 75" 6704/6754 due to the lack of the P5 picture engine on the 7000/8000 variants.

As others have said philips rate their TVs on the picture performance index

6754 = 1200
7304 = 1700 (P5)
8204 = 1900 (P5)

I mean you could also get a 65 inch for around 500 or so.. then again you might as well think about a 32inch while you’re at it.

Nonsensical and predictable retort.
OBVIOUSLY 70in and 75in difference would not be noticeable especially as the 70in model to which I refer is of a higher spec
