Not sure this has a P5 processor, doesn't mention it on philips.co.uk
Series below 7000 doesn't have P5.
I'm assuming not OLED either per their product description
15% topcashback
In Curry’s description, mentions P5 processor.
This is a great deal. According to Camel Camel Camel, the price has been consistently £1500-1800 until September 2019, then reduced to £1200. £899, especially with cash-back on top, seems a very good deal.
Don't think its oled actually
I've never used topcashback before its seems like this you get 15% cash back. Is it correct and do you just go to TCB webpage and it directs you to currys?
How do you get the cash back? Or is it a bit of a con .
So how much difference is there between this and the LG 75UM7000PLA?

You just click through the link at the cashback site and then go through with the purchase straight away. Not a con, the massive majority work, but often take a few weeks to months to pay out.
Unbelievable deal. Watching this for some time and now bought from Currys as Richer Sounds are struggling with stock. 75", 4K and ambilight for effectively under £800.

I'm as much an AV aficionado as anyone, but I don't care what anyone says: you have this thing on the wall with a decent source and the Ambilight and it's a far more impressive and spectacular experience than any £2-3000 55" OLED. (I have a 55" Sony also!)

That might offend some due to their purchasing decisions, but it's the simple truth.

One of the best AV purchases I've ever made. Can't believe that you bring this level of experience into the home for under £800 now.

Just purchased from Currys. Upscales picture to 4K and Certified by Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos, you simply cant go wrong! The Ambilight 75PUS6754/12 also features Philips P5 Perfect Picture Engine, which enhances the tiny details in your content to make it feel more true to life.
Anyone who's using a soundbar with this tv, which brand are you using? Do I need to stick to Philips, or will other brands work just as well? (I don't care about the separate remotes).
This 75" Philips was an amazing discount. I was on the fence deliberating too long over the Philips or 65" Panasonic & LG non OLED's. The Ambient lighting looks awesome.

By the time I went to purchase the Philips at Currys/PC World they had exceeded their pre-order limit so unable to purchase.

I would be interested to know actual user opinions on this TV once received as official reviews are scarce.

Will be looking out for this mega deal again on Boxing Day sales.
Has anyone who ordered this had delivery arranged yet?

Still waiting on a delivery date for ours. Currys have messaged (last Friday) to say their supplier should be in touch soon with a date, but not heard anything yet!

Same here. I was getting a bit worried but AO have had it back in stock today so hopefully Currys will have it soon
For anyone still waiting for a delivery date, seems you'll be waiting an indefinite period of time. They have 20 TVs coming in on 18th Dec for 138 orders! No idea how the TV's will be allocated or if/when more stock will be available. They did helpfully inform me I can cancel and have my money back in 10 working days!!

Disappointing! - Was hoping to get mine before Xmas...
Still waiting here too.

Will give them an ear full tomorrow.
Cancel it and go for it in the boxing Day sale would be cheaper
Just an update , the moaning actually paid off and its getting delivered tomorrow. It has been reserved for a while now and they are in stock so must have just slipped through the delivery departments list.
So I was told...

You must be one of the lucky 20! I’ll try them again today, thanks for the update
Just called again and got told the same thing! Won’t be in stock until tomorrow and can’t be allocated until then

Not sure if they called you today but apparently there was a delivery failure and now won’t be in until 9th Jan!!

They have the worst customer service, they couldn’t care less! I’ve been on to them for over 3 hours because they’ve been transferring me. They knew they couldn’t fulfil the orders but didn’t bother to let anyone know! Terrible!
Called again too and they offered me the budget LG 75 inch which is currently available for 850 on their site.
I wasn't impressed...
Still 22 pending orders apparently and no incoming delivery date...
They tell everyone something different it seems, I was told there's 120 customers waiting!

Only consistent, non in stock and no idea when they'll be available!
I called yesterday after spending half an hour on hold and was told they're expecting stock in on 10th January (to be fair he didn't say what year). Despite the fact they've had my money for the last 3 weeks I'm going to hold out till then. If something better comes up in the sales in the meantime, great I'll cancel my order and grab a better deal, till then I figure I'll just wait it out.

Call back. I got them to price match the Samsung UE 7100 and it's coming today. Can't wait any longer for this one
Sorry to hear of all the stock delays, sounds like Curry's are up to their usual tricks of taking people's money first when stock availability is actually zero.

I have been looking for any Boxing Day deals on the 75 inch Philips but nothing going. Amazon are doing a limited time deal today of £649 on the 65 inch version.
I do love the idea of ambilight with Philips so going to hold out until the 75 inch is reduced somewhere.

After all the issues with Curry's, I'm not sure I would personally order with them now.
Anyone got theirs yet? Any opinion on the smart features on "saphi" would be appreciated!
