Nice iron for the price I have a similar model and it does wonders on my shirts while I'm cursing away how I hate ironing.

2400W @ cosco Chester for £32
I bought this last summer on prime day half price and just arranged for its return to Amazon today. The boss tells me Its terrible and as much use as a cold stone. If it works for you I’m pleased but I’m in the market for a replacement and thinking Bosch.

Purchased an Azur and a relatively expensive Morphy Richards both garbage in performance to be honest. Any deals on a Tefal Ultraglide out there?
The rule in our house if it needs ironing we don't buy it
Currently using a Philips Azur Performance Plus GC4521 which replaced another Philips Azur steam iron. On the current model they’ve changed the calc collection compartment from being an easy to remove one with a slide switch to one requiring a Torx screwdriver.

Even using filtered water it requires manual descaling every other use. Other than using ionised water (expensive if you regularly have lots of ironing to get through) is there anything else that can be done to reduce scale build-up in irons?
I don't know what to buy. All these Tefal, Philips, Morphy Richards have all lasted about a year each for me over the past few years.
I can't believe how quickly the steam blocks up on them
I went through many Irons trying to find a decent one and then stopped on a Breville 3100w iron and couldn’t be happier. £35 on Amazon.
