Dropped just over £12ish - good little shaver with 1 hour charge time for 50 mins use, which is pretty good!

Expertly designed to be safe and comfortable on almost all parts of the body, including underarms, torso and back, the BG2034/13 Bodygroom Series 5000 Mens Shaver from Philips is sure to transform your grooming regime for good.

The skin comfort system features a hypoallergenic foil and rounded tips to protect your skin while shaving. This also means all hairs of different lengths are caught and cut, without the need for multiple tools or risk of contact with sharp edges. The bi-directional trimmers cut longer hairs, which are then shaved by the foil for a closer finish.

Equipped with 3 combs, the versatile BG2034/13 is the perfect taming tool for all kinds and lengths of body hair. You can easily attach the combs onto the shaving system and trim hair to fixed length settings of 3mm, 5mm, or 7mm, or achieve a closer result without a comb. What's more, the extendable arm is designed to safely and conveniently remove the back hair you wouldn't normally be able to reach.

For added comfort, the Bodygroom is 100% waterproof, making it suitable for use in or out of the shower, and comes with an ergonomic grip for optimum handling when wet.

The high-power NiMH battery boasts 50 minutes of cordless use after just a 1-hour charge, and the light indicates when the battery is low or full. All of Philips' grooming products are built to last, come with worldwide voltage compatibility, and never need to be oiled.

When it says, 'almost all parts of the body...' which parts are the 'almost'????

Don't want to put this anywhere near the Crown Jewels if they're an almost.

Makes me laugh! - Nowhere in that description does it say that the Bodygroom suite of products is for trimming pubes.... But that's exactly what they're for!, and everyone knows it!.
So use on knob & bollocks!, but remember!.... Don't press TOO hard, she can still nip like an angry weasel!.

I would recommend the tt2040 model over this it's better and can be found for about £40 on deal times

Cutthroat is best for that region. Trust me.

Anyway know the best bodygroom shaver ?

Yeah, double edge razor and good shaving soap... you can shave whatever you want with a bit of practice. I mean, that's what I heard ;]

It's fourty pounds from Philips eBay and free delivery.

How well do these shavers work compared with a wet shave with a razor?

You're not meant to use these for facial shaving. I think using it everywhere below the neck is officially fine, including those places.

Use it to trim my nose hair.

Very ineffective.

But its what I've got.

Ho hum.

How better? And advertised 7000 series often don’t say whether it is the 2039 or the 2040, so how can one distinguish these?

Probably both.

Far less likely to slice a chunk off your bell-end.

I have one of these - really good trimmer.
Also, I registered it online and got one additional year of warranty for free.

Its the wrong kind of device for doing that!

Jokes aside - I have the 2040 version - and I will say its not been too bad. As others have mentioned - good to use it while in the shower and go slow.

If you don't - it will nip like an angry weasel - winking at you when you put it back on charge.
