Cheers - looks nice so I've gone for one of these over the BT twin pack.
This phone was £19.99 a few months back at Amazon. I bought 6 of them for round the house!

Lol, defeats the object of having cordless doesn't it?
not if you dont have a telephone socket in every room !

skdotcom,

Did you buy 1 base set + 5 additional sets? Buying 6 single units is not really useful unless there is a telephone socket in every room.

Edi
Edi, you could actually set one as a master and the rest as slaves. You surely need the base to charge the unit.

Agreed Wiraone.

skdotcom says he/she grabbed six. Say if your grab six sets from Microdirect, you need 6 phone sockets as these are all main units. As you say, if one needs six then it should one master and 5 slaves - that's what I meant.
I bought one main base unit with ansaphone and 5 normal handsets (like shown above). Only the main base unit needs to be plugged into the phone line, additional handsets (including additional main base units) can be set as "slaves".

i've just realised that although my phone looks the same as this, it must be the previous model as i dont have a colour screen, although it does have all the other features.

skdotcom,

Thanks for clarifying this. I too have the Philips Cordless Twin set, without the colour screen. Bought these for £29.99 at Argos a while ago.
