Oh this looks very handy. Do you know if it has a li-ion battery?
Does it take off? 🚁

Voted hot. I have it .
Have they upgraded the battery? I have one of these and it has to be plugged in when using it as the battery no longer holds any charge.
Does it do BSC?

Been trying to find this. Does rotating the head make the cut length change or do we have to use the fittings for cut sizes?
Adjustable ring for cutting length.

I used one of these for about 3 years. They are good but, no matter how careful you are, the prongs on the comb tend to break off. I was just about to buy my third replacement comb at £13 each when I spotted the Remington quick cut for £24 and went for that. I personally prefer the Remington as I find it much easier and quicker to use than the Philips and it fits more comfortably in the hand. Another difference between the two is to adjust the cut length on the Remington you have change the comb whereas on the Philips you simply turn a dial. I also found the Remington cuts much shorter - the shortest length on the Philips is 3mm (which I used) but with the Remington you can go even shorter. The battery on the Remington is also very good - I get 4 or 5 cuts before it needs recharging. Hope this helps.

Thanks for useful info. I decided to buy Remington on the end thought Philips would be better quality but apparently not as combs break easily. Also Remington seems to be easier to use for inexperienced people like me 😄

Thanks, seems to have gone up now, i'll keep an eye on the price over black friday and hope it goes down. Looks like a decent bit of kit. Only thing I'm not sure about is if the curved blades will work for shaving my face as I use my current clippers for both.
