It's the hot thing right now(pun intended), frying without fat, I guess. Didn't try it yet myself.

To be fair Philips were the market leader for a long time (before Ninja got into the market)

Yes, but then the Chinese bought Philips, so it's yet another average product at an inflated price. Any air fryer available in the market does exactly the same job.

Philips invented this version/type of airfryer although Tefal did have their actifry version (spinning spoon) at similar time and even Tefal has jumped onto this type of design despite sill making their actifry which no other manufacturer has copied to my knowledge to date.

Great price but id recommend the digial display over the analogue versions any day of the week, i have an orginal philips airfryer and the timer dial is stuck most of the time now as well as the printed on deplay is wearing off plus if you want truly accurate temp settings you can go wrong with a digital display.
