I think they are Refrubrished. Warranty only 30 days by seller not manufacturer

My X1 is great sounding apart from the lack of removable ear muffs

Just read some reviews before buying myself. I owned the X1 and enjoyed them but these are a complete upgrade. Removeable pads included!

30 days?

This well known tech review site awarded them 5 stars and editors choice 2015. The review says they compare favourably to much higher priced cans like the flagship Sennheiser HD800

Read the review dude, it doesn't say better but that they hold their own at less than a quarter of the price. The fidelio range have long been regarded as some of the best value gear out there and have won numerous awards from multiple tech sites.

Holding there own I will accept although I prefer sennheiser but I have the hd 600 but for the price a good deal I also gave heat!

Worth every penny hot☺

Would there still be a 12month warranty with the manufacturer ?

I too am a Senny fan. My go to cans at the moment are the HD650. Thanks for the heat man.

I don't think so but they are brand new and the build quality is pretty stellar on the Fidelio range. Removeable pads and cable should mean you shouldn't encounter any problems with normal use for years to come.

No. The manufacturer's warranty is void as they are not a registered seller Just 28 days warranty. I got a pair anyway

Oh man. Wish they had a warranty. But hot anyways

Basically manufacturers set minimum rrp on their products to artificially keep prices high. Occasionally people get a batch from bankrupt stock or from countries where the rrp is lower and sell them on at lower cost without the manufacturers consent (this is known as the grey market) I have bought loads of electronic goods this way always at huge discounts from rrp and have never regretted it even once.

I just bagged myself a set of Beats Pro's from Amazon.fr for £169 including delivery and currency conversion. I would have considered these If I hadn't!

I had X1 - loved them!
I heard only good opinions about X2.

I have HD800 at the moment... ridicules headphones haha.

Warranty termsThe warranty begins on the date of purchase as stated on … Warranty termsThe warranty begins on the date of purchase as stated on your proof-of-purchase and expires at theend of the period indicated in the section “Warranty period” below. In case you lost your proof-of purchase, the retailer is unknown or the product was purchased from an unregistered seller e.g. viaon-line auction channels, the warranty period is considered to have started three months after thedate of manufacturing indicated on the product or as derived from the serial number of the product. For products without production date or serial number on the product a valid proof-of-purchase isrequired.

Whilst that may be the case with some manufacturers, with Philips you shouldn't invalidate the warranty.

Based on my experience with the X1 there probably won't be a date of manufacture on the box but there should be a serial number and if you e-mail their customer service team they can confirm when they were made. Being a fairly new headphone (released mid-late summer 2014 iirc?) I'd imagine a minimum of 8 or 9 months warranty on these is realistic, but quite possibly the full year

Gutted just burning in a new pair of B&W P5 series 2. Probably would have got these though, can't justify buying any more headphones lol

Hi, the item comes with a 28 day warranty from us only to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

The manufacturers warranty is void as we are not a registered seller.

That should say ...

what the vendor told me

Lovely set of cans bought from this seller last week at £189.00 which i'm a bit gutted about! Can confirm these to be new & sealed though I suspect they are indeed imports not that it should matter!

deal ended on ebay. needs to be expired.

How do you expire a deal using the android app? Can't seem to dind that option anywhere.

Hey has anyone actually received theirs yet? I'm beginning to think this deal may have been a bit too good to be true. Mine aren't even marked as dispatched yet!

Nope, not received mine yet either nor has it been marked as dispatched, its been a week now. No replies to my message from the Seller either.

Seems a hit and miss, the previous listing where the seller was selling at £189.99 seems fine from the feedback. I'll continue to wait another week before reporting it to eBay...

Not got mine yet. The listing said estimated delivery between 13th and 17th.

I've got the same delivery estimate on mine so we might still be OK. Fingers crossed for a suprise arrival tomorrow!

There's quite a bit of talk on the head-fi X2 thread (pages 205-226 roughly) about an ebay seller - think it is for the same listing: http://www.head-fi.org/t/723025/philips-fidelio-x2/3375

One member posted the following response they received from the seller alleging his account was hacked:

http://gyazo.com/49d338b98969bcd748b15407ff334cc2

Looks like quite a few negs starting to appear on his feedback so might be worth filing a dispute if the estimated delivery date passes & you are getting the silent treatment.

Hi, could you confirm that you received yours from the same seller because apparently now he's claiming his Paypal account was hacked and items listed that he did not have. Seems very strange that he wouldn't contact buyers of stuff that he did not have, explain the problem and issue a refund. Although I know I'll get my money back in the end It annoys me that I have to wait so long!

My estimated delivery date range expired today but ebay still won't let me open a dispute as "they could still be on their way" I seriously doubt that looking at the stream of jegatives that are mounting up. I suspect cash flow problems of a business going under using ebay as a way to get a quick loan. Very disappointing! !

Looks like he's done a runner. Ebay have removed the item and are issuing refunds

I phoned eBay today and they agreed a refund and sent the following message:

"eBay ruled in your favour in your dispute case about your purchase from amir amin, and a full refund of 149.99 GBP was sent to your PayPal account.

Please allow 3-5 working days for the refund to be received in your account. eBay will then consider the dispute closed. If you have any questions, please go to the eBay Resolution Centre."

The case is also closed in the resolution centre

Just checked my Paypal and the refund has been received
