It reducing ironing time by a 1/3 in our experience

Bought one of these two years ago.

We have 3 kids and there is a lot of ironing to be done in our house.

I read the reviews and they all seemed to be very good. (I had also looked at the reviews of other, cheaper steam generator irons because I am a true hotukdealer who does not want to spend more than necessary when buying something)

My wife was very skeptical about this and asked my "why have you wasted your money on this" when it arrived in the house.

However, after using it, we both agree that the iron is light when held in the hand (the heavy bits are in the base unit) and it is much quicker than a conventional iron.

It usually sells for about £350.

£189 is a lot of money for an iron, but this is a good item which reduces your ironing time by about 1/3

Never mind reducing ironing time i'd need it to do it for me for that price!!
Cheers. Just ordered one.
Amazon prices for steam generator irons are always very high, do an internet search for the model and its not hard to beat their price.
Great product, the amount of steam makes life a lot easier plus the plate is extremely high quality too

Any labour/ time saving gadget costs money and the big question is, how much is your free time worth to you?

Do you own any of these labour/time saving gadgets?

- washing machine.

- tumble dryer

- car

- telephone

- electric lawnmower.

Although it was more expensive than a replacement non-steam generator iron, this has saved my wife and I a lot of time from doing the tedious chore of ironing, so that we can spend more time together as a family doing things we like to do.

The amazon webpage is giving me an option to pay £37 a month for 5 months.

Not sure if this is because I have prime or if this is available to everyone.

Just out of interest, have you had to look at the price of this again because yours is no longer working after 2 years owning it? Just wondering really
