Yes this is a bit OTT, and yes a decent iron can be had for ~£25. However, this isn't just an iron. Its a "wardrobe care solution".

Reviews seem good too!

Sells for ~£750 in most places, so a genuine saving to be had.

For those not willing to click the link, to actually understand the product before voting, it's not just an iron - its also a semi dry cleaner ("refresher") so could save money in the long run.

If that didn't fascinate you enough, click the link to learn even more

Competitor Prices:

Comet - £798.99
Laskys - £733.61

Why vote it cold? Its a genuine half price deal for a premium product!!!

May be too expensive / unnecessary for most, but thats no reason to cold vote it........unless of course it (or a like-for-like product) can be had cheaper elsewhere!?

I'd actually consider one if I wore suits daily and had the spare dosh to splash!

Don't understand why people think something is a good deal just because it's the cheapest about?

This is a site where people hunt bargains. If I was that bloke that had just won £80m on the euro lottery I wouldn't consider buying this.

If I had the space, I'd go for it. Serious saving, so I'll vote hot.

God, I so want one!
Must...not...buy

Spent too much on HUK 'bargains' recently. And what was the other reason again? Oh yeah, I HAVEN'T GOT THE SPACE FOR THIS!! And my other half will kill me.

Would get one for the missus as its her birthday soon but she has got plenty of time before and after work,:whistling::)

Voted hot

Me neither. I'd get a few loosely dressed hotties to iron for me, while i sit back by my new pool, in my new mansion, supping on a cool beer.

Shows Comet are currently selling this for £798.99, and Laskys for £733.61

If it could make my dinner as well I could probably get rid of the wife altogether.

Good price.
Worth getting one as a spare for when your existing wardrobe-care-solution finally breaks down

Is an £800 TV that is sold for £450 considered a good deal to you? Why would this be any different? This site shouldn't just be about cheap tat, this is a genuine good deal if you are looking for this particular product.

Would seriously like that bargain price but still alot of money. Looks a cool idea, love my gadgets!

a half price deal on a £800 tv would be a hot deal but a half price 'iron' at £425 aint a hot deal imo !

no one on this site wants one of these. the majority of people on this site are looking to spread their dole money further, but are still the sort of people who will have a 60" plasma in the front froom of their council house and feed their 8 semi-retarded children 3 packets of Space Invaders for dinner 4 times a week. so no, no one wants this. cold

not really the same. he's not saying 'What's more expensive, an £800 iron or an £800 TV?', he's saying that, subjectively, he doesn't think an £800 iron for £450 is a good deal.
I bought an SF4 tournament fightstick today for £75. Bargain I thought, but the latest deal at that price reached a chilly -100 degrees :?
Similarly, the mexico swine flu t-shirt that's reached 3500 degrees is the sort of tat that I would vote cold if it were free.

No accounting for taste, or opinion

That said, this thing looks cool and if I had more money than sense I'd buy it. Lukewarm.

hot from me .would love one ( hubby did buy me a steam generator iron for my birthday)

lucky you, think I would have hit my husband over the head if he gave me an iron for my birthday - steam generator or not ;-)

youll get an imprint of an iron on your forehead with the board inserted somewhere it shouldnt:p

At first, I thought "f*** me" but I've got 3 suits, they go to the dry cleaners every two months and cost about £25 to be done....so if this means they save totally on dry cleaning, there's £150 a year clawed back.

If you were going to get a steam generating iron for £100 then....

aw f**k it, this is still a bloody fortune.

I would LOVE one but can't justify spending that much money.Heat added.

Fantastic gadget!!

Now, if I can just get the kids off those space invaders....

I absolutely love gadgets, but as someone who hasn't really ironed much at all (move out in a few weeks ;p) I have to say I'm struggling to see the real appeal with this - voted hot anyway as it's a great price, but the second 'steam' function would be an absolute waste of time for me (no delicates!! :P) and the last bit, does it actually clean it at all, or just freshen it up a little? Still think I'd rather go to the dry cleaners for that because they actually clean it, right?

Please forgive my ignorance btw, I'm genuinely clueless about these things!

hot...hot...hot.... I am getting one today.
