Been waiting for this to go down as needed a new kettle. Back again at £22.99. The quality of this is great and is a bargain for this price.

i have this kettle and got the toaster to match paid a lot more than this for it so a good deal
I've got this kettle and while it's good, it's not perfect...

+ Pushing the button to open the lid only opens the lid 1/2 way.
+ While it's got a "one cup" feature, it takes a while for the last bits of water to dribble out of it.

My previous Tefal kettle didn't have any of these issues. Maybe mine is a bit faulty.
The plastic strip across the lid top also gets brittle after 2 yrs, apparently a common issue. However I liked it so just bought another one ! +

I bought this recently but it seems tea now tastes a bit like TCP,might have to send it back.
I have this kettle. Would definately recommend.
I've had this kettle nearly 3 years and never had an issue, the lid half opening isn't that annoying and its quite fast boiling. Hot @ this price, I paid nearly £50
is there a matching toaster?

I was looking at that one too, but it had a long delivery time, until recently, when it became unavailable. I usually keep a spare kettle and as my old one broke I took the new spare one out. This one is a similar looking Breville one. I bought it two years ago but was brand new and out of the box. After two days the lid jammed itself shut, meaning you can only open it with a knife. This is why I ordered this one, as my brand new Breville one was pants.

Nice kettle story here, which probably doesn't answer your question.

Great service from Amazon as always. Ordered when I posted this. Had an email an hour ago saying its dispatched and it arrives tomorrow (free super saver delivery option selected).
so what sis you order then this one thats listed?

Yep, this one listed.

Received mine today and am very please. The finish and build quality is very good (don't really see the flimsy lid issue or half opening lid issue others have experienced - maybe the newer ones have been modified). There is generous lid opening (in comparison to the broken Breville one its replace) and feels nice and sturdy. Boils fast and is quiet. No dribble issues.

I think I'm going to order another one and keep it as a spare I seem to have to replace kettles every 1 1/2 years.
grrr should have ordered this when i had the chance
£40
Had this kettle for 4 years now with no issues. I would recommend it and will have to keep my eyes peeled for it to be on offer again so I can get another one for when this one comes to the end of its life, if in fact it does.
Now I have said that it will probably break down in the morning.
I've had this kettle for around 6 months and it has been the best kettle I have ever owned. I picked mine up for £29.99 from Sainsburys on offer. So this is a hot price for a hot kettle. The lid issue isn't too bad once your used to it. And it's very fast to boil.

I have this kettle and had this same problem... it soon fades with use... give it a week of use and should be sorted.

No... that's not a better kettle... that's an uglier kettle.
I do like this kettle (mine is black). However, after two years of ownership it started to leak. The leak was caused due to the build-up of limescale. I managed to disassemble the kettle and clean off the limescale that was allowing water to get passed the double silicon seal at the bottom of the boiling chamber.
