Good price but frequently on sale at sub £70
Edited by: "jona77" 28th Dec 2016

If you ever spent £150 on this, you shouldn't be allowed out on your own. £70-£80 normal price.

got one of these a couple of black Friday sales ago for about £45 and think it's fantastic. this price is about the max I would have gone.

Same price at Tesco too

Gets used mostly every day at ours

Does this rotate the food too? Or Do I have to do that myself?

Can I cook frozen chips in this too?

No rotation, but frozen chips are absolutely fine. For some items, I wrap them in tinfoil so that they cook more evenly.
One thing I have splashed out on, is the additional tray that comes with the more expensive model. It effectively allows stacking of food so that you can get more in there as it is quite small. That is my only real gripe about it. The larger unit though is considerably more expensive and the rack isn't cheap.
As others have commented, I wouldn't pay more than the price quoted here and certainly not £150! :-)

i paid £49 from Amazon over a year ago and the newer model has been £70 in the past.
This shouldn't really be more than £50, especially as its now old stock.

Same price as amazon. Standard price so cold

A bit cheaper at Tesco £69. tesco.com/dir…prd?sc_cmp=tp1_ppc_g_hd9220_e&sc_cmp=ppc*sl*me*bg*px_-_small_domestic_appliances*hd9220&gclid=CIfr6_f9l9ECFZFsGwodIzYN3g&gclsrc=aw.ds&source=others

Got one today, I love it. Extremely easy to use and won't make a mess everywhere like my old deep fat fryer, worth every penny.

can you fry vegetables in these ?

Tefal Actifry or this?

P.S. Opt in to Quidco £10 cashback on a £50 spend at Argos for that bit more of a saving

Obsessed with mine. Definitely worth every penny

I used mine to roast chestnuts, was a bad idea. Let's leave it at that.

I had the old model Phillips air fryer and it served me well, but recently switched to the morphs Richards health fryer which is currently £69 in currys or £67 in my local Morrisons (Yiewsley), I would say it's equal to the Phillips in terms of cooking, but comes with more accessories (cake tin & fry tray as well as the standard tray) and has a great display and interface. currys.co.uk/gbu…tml
