Kicking myself missing this one. Paid £183 at amazon just been in the store at Currys and seen 4 of these near the door end of stock items. Air fryers save mega on oil with frying chips and fish also cuts 80% fat off the chips. Only £129.99 bargin.

Brilliant, been waiting for this to come down. Amazon will probably reduce it now as well

I presume this is the bigger one .

Yes this is the latest model (XL) with a capacity of 1.2 kg., I was looking for it and unfortunately no stock in Northern Ireland. And no home delivery option too.

Would like to know anyone who owns one and how they compare in taste to normal fryer

I was sent one of these to test and I wouldn't buy at all might as well use the oven to be honest. but good price if you want one

Yey just ordered (got some left in Chester), having being dissappointed with the canceled Tefal Actify order I'm pleased to give this Philips a go, good reviews, good price. Thanks AzimScot - have some heat !

These are great. Had mine about 6 months and the chips are so much better than oven ones.

fryers are 99.00 in tesco extra leeds

packard

I found fryer food has more of a taste due to the fat i'd say. The food out of this airfryer is generally like oven food really, infact it is an oven as quite rightly pointed out by carlzoe1982. I wasnt use to the taste at first but i got use to it and know its a lot healthier since there isnt so much fat/grease on the plate
The good thing with this is not having to turn the food half way through cooking as the air circulates around.

i use mine loads (1.2kg version) and cook loads in it from slices of pizza to roast potatoes, even the occasional pie or something

use it as a small oven at times as it heats up neat instant and cooks in fraction of hte time - it saves me money

I bought this for £99.99 from currys in January. It's great food taste much better using this. We as a family of 4 love it
