Yes.

Electrotec is a wholly owned subsidiary of Servicecare Support Systems … Electrotec is a wholly owned subsidiary of Servicecare Support Systems Ltd and has been specifically formed in partnership with Philips to re-market refurbished Philips products. Servicecare have many years experience in the refurbishment of electronic products. This has been gained by working in partnership with many catalogue companies, retailers and manufacturers including Philips. At Electrotec we buy major manufacturer returns and refurbish them to graded standard for sale to the public or retailers. The usual reasons for these returns are because they are either; unwanted presents, delivered to the wrong address, packaging damaged, minor cosmetic blemishes, missing accessories or because of minor faults. These returns are then tested, processed, repackaged and offered for sale. Where a repair is required this is done by one of our qualified electronic engineers, using manufacturer provided parts

from my web research, they are mass storage.

Im tempted. Managed to resist when the Amazon deal came round last time, but this is certainly a nice price. Esp when most reports say that most problems have been sorted via firmware

to quote computeractive "The device will appear as a mass storage device within Windows when you hook it up via the USB cable, so you can also treat the HDD6320 as a portable hard drive."

Thanks widdly, quite tempted myself even though I was holding out for one which supported Ogg Vorbis.

Philips have just announced they're not going to add support for Windows Vista for the HDD6320.*

*It still works in WMP11, but no album art, photos, playlists don't appear correctly.

Just putting a note here to say I got my HDD6320 today. Contrary to what ive seen elsewhere (and as I reported here), this would appear not to be a mass storage device. It needs WMP to transfer music.

Seems quite nice otherwise though. Bundled headphones are good, perhaps a move by philips to mask/mitigate the player's low output.
