Hope you realise they're open back so not great for isolation. Review here B9 :

Sounds like they'd be ideal for critical listening to stuff like jazz and classical.

Read elsewhere they were quite good for isolation, not sure now, thanks for the info. Already shipped though so I'll give them a go

OK; hope it's not a noisy commute. It would make best sense to go with "in ear monitors" for commuting though if you can get on with them : their isolation really does mean you can get away with lower volume settings and save your ears. Find it quite depressing actually reading the number of posts on Head-Fi from tinnitus sufferers who regret not looking after their ears better when they were younger.
On a more positive note, those Philips headphones look a great bargain if quality sound is what you're after

Rather than expire this thread I've reverted the title show the product (Philips Headphones) which are still available at the price originally identified in your thread. The other 2 headphones you had listed on offer, are no longer available on the HMV Website.

I had a pair of these, beware they leak an enormous amount of noise. If you're a closet bieber fan, people will know. Avoid.
