No it hasn't, the amazon link is still there :whistling:

£59 now. Expired I am afraid

This has not expired, go to other sellers and click on £29 at Amazon.

Voted hot, thanks OP.

You guys are cracking me up, "LOOK" at the buying options on the right hand side of the page

Hasn't expired, just ordered one! Thanks to the OP.

Think it's been moved due to the delivery estimate being 2-4 weeks now. Don't think it was earlier.

EDIT: Having said that, the estimate on mine (ordered earlier) is 28 Mar 2008 - 11 April 2008.

It is still £29 (look on the right of the amazon screen) the £59 is from savers_uk. This is why i hate the way amazon do their market place thing. the first price should be amazon's. Please can we un expire this

Guys and gals it is still at £29.99 look at the left hand part of the screen where it says all the prices for different shops Amazon still says £29.99

Not expired but " estimated dispatch date: 25 Mar 2008 - 2 April 2008"

Great spot Centurion - just ordered for £29 - heat and rep left

Which report says:

"The 3 rotary heads of this Philips shaver will give you quite a close and comfortable shave, and it's really easy to use too.

The stocky grip fits well into the palm, making it comfy to hold while shaving, and it can be washed under a tap, so it's easy to keep clean. The instructions are simple to understand, and this is one of the quieter shavers tested.

The beard trimmer flips out of the back of shaver at the flick of a switch. It's easy to use and sharp enough to cut closely.

Helpful red and green lights on the front indicate the level of charge. Fully charged, the should give you 35 minutes' shaving time, enough for a weekend away on holiday, although our tests found it actually gives more time.

Charging for 6 minutes will give you 4 and a half minutes of shaving time.

Pros: Very easy to use, easy to keep clean, quiet for an electric shaver

Cons: Not quite as comfortable to use as other Philips Best Buys"

Sounds good to me - and its cost me the same as a few packs of Mach3 blades!

(p.s. could a mod please unexpire this?)

Thanks, gone for one.

:-D:-D:-D

Great find thanks...

cheers

ajay

Was after a beard trimmer, so went for this on the above comment that it has a flip out beard trimmer, suppose the shaver will come in handy too!!

Great find.

I read the reviews and was as actually going to buy this in Argos at the current price of £89.79 (item number 4426776).

Bargain buy. £29.00 link worked for me.

Thanks again:-D

Great, great find, been looking for one, hot. Thank you

Why does it say it's expired, I just ordered one for £29.00?

just use

just ordered mine great thx very much.....

Brilliant find, thanks a lot. Just ordered one for hubby.
Heat added:-D

Guys I have this shaver.

The shave is pretty good compared to the older model Philishave it replaced. No idea how it stands up to the new model 'architec' range, but at a fraction of the price it's a bargain.

However, and maybe I got 2 duffs from the same batch, but I am not impressed with the charging aspect.. A full charge only seems to give me 3 or 4 (quite long) shaves before the 'low battery' light comes on. I thought the first was faulty but the replacement did the same thing. When plugged in to the mains you can audibly hear the motor speed up, so I guess the low battery indication is correct. My last Philips did so much better.

Don't let it put you off too much though £29 is a great price and maybe mine is not typical of battery performance, or I have extra manly tough stubble.

this is still working, just ordered 2, thanks op! voted hot!

Just ordered a few. It ain't no expired! But have to wait about a month to get them anyway (if...).

Thanks. Just ordered. I remember using an electric shaver years ago and it used to be very rough on my skin. I hope they've improved since then. Worth the risk if it saves me the time every day having a wet shave.

Does anyone know of anything you can use on your skin to help to protect it from an electric shaver i.e. does wetting your face help or are there products you can buy to soften your skin before use?

1) Wash with warm(hot) water to open pours before shaving.

2) Massage shaving foam into your stubble.

3) Use wet shave razor to have a proper shave

4) rinse wash with cold clean water.

5) moisturise

2 and 3 are a bit of a joke so you know, you could use afterbalm to sort they irritation problem out I would think.

Use this! Lasts about 2 or 3 months per stick.

Its £4.99 inc free delivery but you wont be disappointed, look at the reviews!

shavers.co.uk/sho…391

I even got them to do a bulk discount on it which they now list on their website. I bought loads of it as i wouldn't be able to use my electric razor without it!
