Get a real juice health boost. The Philips Viva juicer extracts all of the nutritious juice from your fruit and vegetables and can make up to 2 L of juice in one go. The XL feeding tube means that preparation time is significantly reduced prior to juicing. All you need to do is feed your fruit and vegetables directly into the tube and the juicer will do the rest.

You can experiment with a variety of different ingredients varying from apples and oranges to parsnips and pears. Once you have made your jug of raw juice, cleaning your juicer could not be easier. Thanks to the QuickClean technology, this juicer can be cleaned in just 1 minute.

All surfaces are made with smooth and easy clean materials, including the electro polished sieve, which means that the machine can be cleaned in just 1 minute. To make cleaning even easier or to flush through the machine between making different types of juice, Philips juicers now have a Quick Rinse function. Simply pour water through and switch on and all residual particles will be flushed through the juicer. Additionally, the special design of the integrated pulp container means that the juice is channelled through the juicer more efficiently. This results in more juice being extracted from your ingredients and also less mess is created as all the pulp is channelled directly into the see through pulp container.

The see through pulp container makes the Philips Viva juicer really straight forward to use, as you can see when the container is full. Even emptying the pulp container is hassle free as the juicer can be assembled and disassembled quickly and easily. As well as the benefits of QuickClean and obtaining extra juice, the integrated design also means that this juicer will take up less space on your kitchen worktop.

In what way aren't they healthy? Because it's fructose and it can oxidise?

in no way am I saying I'm an expert. I spent 20 minutes or so reading articles and concluded these wouldn't help me with the health drive I want. there's a lot of stuff about sugar release, diabetes, lack of fibre, worse than cola etc.

no doubt for someone disciplined on a very healthy diet this would be a good add on.
also received the nutri ninja as a gift. so I checked blenders v juicers and whilst blenders aren't great either I concluded for me they're better as at least you retain the fibre content. I really like the idea of a juicer but I know being 40 something it'll just add to my bad ways.
Thank you for answering so quickly. I've ordered one as I feel, like everything else, in moderation it can't be all bad. I don't think the price is bad if I do find it's not what I expect.
