Hotness for a Philips sound product. They may well produce stuff that looks like it was designed by a committee. But it sure is solid.

A very poor review from which.
"The main issue was distortion caused by cabinet resonance, noted by all our listeners and occurring at lower mid frequencies throughout all tracks, but particularly the Jazz track.

Even ignoring that, it sounded dull, synthetic, processed, the bass lacked definition, and speech was raspy. Dynamics are restricted, the tonal balance uneven, and musical instruments sounded harsh, particularly the piano in the Jazz track.

Sound doesn't worsen if you sit at an angle to it and we found it can fill a large lounge if you push the volume up. When we tried out surround sound we found the effect akin to being in a bathroom and turned it off for the test."

Just read a similar review on Amazon and decided not to even bother walking down to Sainsburys at lunchtime.

Only had a cheaper model in Heaton Park, 2100, for £50 didn't bother looking at it though

got two of these and have none of the above problems.

Awful soundbar (I know someone that had it for a day), a set of £30 2.1 PC speakers sound much better...

I bought this model a few months back from Sainsburys and returned two weeks later. Intermittent power problems, had to unplug it before it would power up from standby. Went for a refund as I didn't want to risk another dodgy set
