Heat added. Spotted this somewhere earlier in the week for the same price and thought the design looked good.

(It wasn't in a Tesco)

quite good, not the best but for the price it is far better than the stock sound system in a common tv

But, Philips though.

I have a Philips soundbar, not the same one as this, but VERY similar,
it's sound lags behind that of the television, so it sounds like there is an echo,
also bought from Tesco (refurbished) deffo wouldn't buy another Philips soundbar,
i'd recommend saving your money and buying an AV receiver and speaker package instead.

turn down the TV audio then...this is the case for most sound bars when you also have the TV audio up

Paid 19 more for my 60BT, so 99 is a truly cracking price, however, just not loud enough for my gaff!

As for being hired, still waiting on being put forward to HUKD mods to maybe have a subject after
my user name like some of the other helpers have..

After looking at some of the Amazon reviews, I think this is one deal that isn't worth bothering with. Maybe if it was half this price, but I'm not taking a punt on this thing for 40 quid.

this really is a waste of money if youve got a decent mid range tv. you'll be making your sound quality worse.

Wouldn't that cause lip-sync issues ?? I was thinking of getting one of these for an elderly relative and had assumed that a directly wired (non Bluetooth) device would not produce a noticeable audio lag....can't see them coping with audio offset settings if a delay is apparent. oO

Guys, please don't try to compare a £40 soundbar with £100+ ones... This is a BASIC soundbar, definitely better than the sound of some Toshiba, Bush or Technika.

Surely if you have a sound bar you would have the tv turned down, speaking from experience if you got 2 sources showing same program, 1 is always going to be slightly behind the other, even watching the same program

I have one of these, not worth it, not additional depth in sound over my tv speakers

Not going to vote cold , but I find soundbars without HDMI next to useless nowadays.....

There should be an adjustment you can do. All soundbars can do this until they are sync'd

Crap sound avoid at all costs I sent mine back you would get a better sound from 2 Pringles tubs.

Its ok actually, I bought this for my Samsung LED TV, as you know the built-in speaker of these TVs are really pointless and you definitely external speakers. This sound bar does the job and I will call it a good deal at this price. The only problem is the tiny little remote, u can't use any other remote for it.

Also, no visual indication of volume so it can be furstrating. Some times it doesn't work after turning on the tv and have to fiddle around.

All in all, it is a good deal, IF YOU MUST have a sound bar.

Looks good too.
