Good to see they've effectively pricematched Amazon Italy!
Good price mate
For the 1m extension can a second power supply be bought separately effectively making two light strips?

Grr, I just ordered from Italian site 20 mins ago.
I could cancel but I think I’m left with €100 gift card I can’t use on UK site.
The saving I made in euro price was negated by cost of shipping.

Dont think so, in these newer versions they are sealed. You would need to purchase another 2m kit.

The 1m extentions are about £14 in Amazon warehouse AS NEW

Thanks. So for my kitchen cabinets I need a 2m strip and a 1m strip but powered separately as on opposite walls. Am I right in thinking I'll need two 2m sets then just cut one down to size?

What i did in the same scenario is to have one 2m powered, and then brought a 2m extention (no lights which i have buried in the wall with truncking) and plugged the 1m in the end of that.

Search for the extensions on amazon.

Really good price. Paid more for the 2m alone 3 or 4 weeks ago.
Ended. Just about to buy too.
Gutted, thought I’d wait till home from work as spotted deal at 5 mins before finish, that’ll teach me for leaving work bang on time
Do you reckon this will come back in the coming days?
I do and I don’t hope so for the sake of my bank account.

Nah it’s ok, just makes me laugh when people post like that. Like saying why buy a sports car when a three wheeler gets you there just the same.

Yes because I have just been on the chat with them for the past 30 minutes getting them to sort it out. The deal went dead at 19% claimed and it takes so long to explain it to them but they finally sorted it out. Got passed to so many people but one of them finally understood and changed the price back.

can this be wired into a normal lighting circuit?

or does it have to be powered from the mains using a normal plug?

- We are having a kitchen fitted and the electrician has wired in lights under the cupboards which use the lighting circuits
Isn’t the offer at 59.99 better with the sensor ?

Yes, but it'll need a in-line transformer as the transformer is in the plug. There are guides online.
Is it possible to assign different colours to the individual LEDs (similar to Lightpack -- lightpack.tv/)?

I understand there is no controller included to make a "light scene" using individual LEDs. The question is more about the technical side of the lightstrip -- are the LEDs configurable individually or are they always the same colour?

These are not addressable, the whole strip is one colour

There's currently no* addressable Hue compatible strips

* razer make one that is semi-compatible but I cannot recommend it

Does your lightpack clone work with HDMI? I'm looking to do an ambilight setup but will need to strip HDCP to do it

No, my lightpack setup is like 5-6 years old (from the time they ran Kickstarter campaign) and is USB-driven, so it only works for video played by the mediacenter. No support for game consoles, so looking for the options to upgrade..
