Works with Alexa/Google Home

£56 for this strip is expensive that’s my point . More expensive than anywhere else. But if you do find a time machine can you go back a few extra weeks and pick my up a blender that was £9.99 . Cheers

Thanks Captain Hindsight but it would have cost me £60 in fuel to Manchester...

This deal is for everyone and it seems to be the cheapest today too.

I'm just trying to help people out
I also picked this up in Bunnings for £49.99
I got Yeelight strip for £20 instead. Philip hue products are just too overpriced for my opinion.
You can get it cheaper than this in the shops. I did. Argos, John Lewis, Curry’s etc etc.
This was 50 for a very long time in most shops

Really?! When?

Irrespectively, we can't go back in time now can we, you silly sausage
This site is about deals , being the cheapest of the day doesn’t count for me as a deal . I wait with Philips hue until real deals come up. £14 more expensive than last week is a cold deal

The treasure trucks are up and down the country . Maybe you should add the app .

Not a good time to bite. I think "LED KIT and works with Alexa" is irrelevant in the title. These are absolutely brilliant though and would still be value at this price IMO.

You're right, I'm wrong, this is a fabulous deal and everyone but me knows it

Yeah, I've had those cheaper ones before from GearBest and after 12months they started to flicker or the diode would die, so I had to buy 3 of these as the project I'm working on needed them sooner rather than later.

I also have 4 of these on my cinema room too = they're perfect IMO

You're very cool, you know that?

Thanks for posting, heat added. Not everyone has Alexa and Google home, instead having Hue bridge, or more, having a Philips Ambilight TV and want to extend the feature with one more side as I did. Cheers
Can anyone here explain how I can make this do the ambilight thing without a Philips TV? Just this, the Hue bridge and an older Sony TV.

Sadly it can’t. Ambilight is a different technology with individual bulbs changing colour around the edge of the TV. This the whole strip changes a single colour.

There are items out there to try and sync but none are as good as ambilight.

Philips have just released Philips entertainment. The lights change to what ever colours on the tv. I think it’s only available on razer and windows ten at the moment , so u have to stream your movie from your computer to ur tv for it to work . but I’m guessing by end of year other companies will join . Google Philips hue Entertainment 2018 update

As I see it's something different. If you play something on your TV whatever the stream source is, it's working for me since day one. This update syncs your HUE bulbs with your Razer ecosystem and with others later on. But I will have a deeper look later on.

Thanks for the info. The single colour thing actually looks quite distracting.
Just checked this and it's back at £69.94
