Put a plug on a length of flex (3183Y) and away you go.

Although, if it’s not as obvious as that to you, might I suggest you consult an electrician to carry out the work.

Wired, according to an earlier deal posted here
Hardly anything about these online. No YouTube videos etc. How do you wire them in?
Cheers OP, just what I need for under a kitchen cabinet

Hue dimmers can make direct connection to a bulb.
Good price considering switch is £17 alone
Amazing price, Hue ambient gu10 bulb and a dimmer for under 23 quid!!
Presume these are standard white Ambience GU10 bulbs in these? Wonder what you could sell the dimmer and light fixtures for lol

I want 40 of the GU10's, so been hoping for a glitch or great clearance offer

Was thinking just this afternoon that I need a hue light of some description in my porch - great timing and great price!
Many thanks Op

Yes, no mention of Bluetooth, so these would be the old Zigbee-only ones. The lamps need mains wiring.

I believe the (battery operated) switch should be able to turn them on/off, dim/brighten and cycle through 4 preset colours of white light.
For more control, tricks or linking to anything else, you'll need to add a 'Bridge' (retailing at £40+).

Nevertheless, and especially if you already have a Hue system with Bridge, this looks a reasonable price - if its something you actually want!
Something you actually want hmmm where would I put them . Could I replace my wall lights with these ? . As a ceiling light..dont think so......wardrobe light ?. Any suggestions.

Just a length of cable, wire the light up as per the instructions and pop a plug on the other end of the cable??

I'm getting one as a standalone reading/ambient light for over my lad's bed as per the pic of the guy on eBay. Seems a bargain for a decent quality spotlight and dimmer without any desire for the Hue functionality. Have plenty of other ZigBee and WiFi lights in the house but doesn't seem much point in adding this one for the intended use.

Interesting! I missed that just realised title was referring to “white” which is obviously the external colour. If these are white ambience then this is very good!

Amazing thank you for confirming
Guess the fixture is just standard?

Tempted to order a load and sell of the dimmers/fixtures. Could work out sub £10/bulb if I can net £15 for the dimmer and fixture.
Well missed the white, only 2 available.

Black are still there, but might be harder to get rid of the fixtures.

Best deal I've seen is 3 x colour GU10 plus hub for about £120. I bought two packs and sold the hubs for about £35 each. After the fees etc I think it worked out around £30 per bulb. Standard price is 3 for £149.
The only other deal to look out for is John Lewis seem to regularly have 3 for 2 on all Hue products.

Also change the fuse in the plug to 3A if necessary. Don't use a 13A fuse.

I would suggest that a registered electrician is used as per oliverhussicks answer, if you are not sure how to go about it safely and properly, probably safest not to attempt it.
Don't suppose you can just remove the bulb out of these? If so then an incredible bargain, dimmer and GU10 for that price, throw away the housing. If not, then still a bargain, but more hassle to put in if you don't already have walls wired.

A GU10 bulb on its own is only about £15 at the moment on Amazon so easier to just buy that.

Good point, I forgot this comes with the remote too. They're normally £17.99 on their own
Good deal, but proper fugly
The 2-spot versions are still available in white for just under £40.

Two bulbs but only one remote of course,

I am planning to use them as is.

Heat added.
Reminds me an awful lot of Portal.

You sure? I fit one a few months ago and the bulbs don't seem particularly removable to me. If you just want the bulbs and don't care about the housing I suppose you could crack it open
Another question; when you buy the flat puck lights bundled with the remote, they work without a hub. Does anyone know of this is the case with these?
