The B22 starter kit was scanning at 49.95 at John Lewis in Swindon rather than 179.95. The gu10s were full price, not sure about the screw caps.

I grabbed 2 from Swindon. Might be nationwide so worth a shot if nearby.

Is this the 9w ES Model ?

Going to JL in an hour so will give it a look. Thanks

wowee good price

Good price, have been considering getting started with Hue for a while now, might take the first step. Could do with the price of the extra bulbs coming down a bit now though! Heat added.

There are no b22 models listed just called them
Can you explain what's the full model number mate ?

You're receipt says mobile phone acces accesories covered by 2 year guarantee £49.95
Suggest others to zoom in

And are they just the plain white bulbs as opposed to the original multi?

And these are for...?

The illuminated......

John lewis oxford street says they have 5 in stock, well 4 as I have reserved one. The man could not tell me if they were b22 or not but ill soon see I guess.

That's right re: receipt. How it showed up. Can't find a model number, it's the bayonet version, barcode 8718696440414. It's not the lux version.

No.

Phoned up customer services and they have it listed at full price. Want to go and pick up a couple in store, but it's a bit of a distance to travel. Can anyone else confirm this deal?

What is included in the starter kit?

Rather just pay a few quid for a standard bulb, coloured tissue paper works great to change the colour.

It can used for SAD lighting too. Just set an alarm for a time, colour, and length of time for it to slowly brighten, or dim.

It was a John Lewis at Home store. Marked up at full price, scanned at under £50

Damn, why didn't I think of that. I'm sure the effect will be EXACTLY the same too. And instead of downloading the app, you could just ring your other half and get them to change the colour of the tissue paper. You sir, are a genius....

Thanks OP jumped in the train as soon as I seen your post

This is def scanning at 49.95 Glasgow they had cleared the shelfs because its a pricing error the single bulbs are scanning at £179.99 and theres been a mix up on the coding or something, thats what I was told but only once I'd managed to get 2 packs. Was a guy who wasn't aware or this problem who had got me them from out the back and was just selling me them when another sale assistant said this..but they let me have them anyway.

Just in but seem to have no receipt in the bag so unfortunately can't post but as far as i know it shows as a single bulb

So if you see them out and its the B22 type you can get them at this price if your lucky...but its an error not a genuine sale item.. Any way Im off to make my house like the local night club

You don't need lampstealer anymore. You can add the bulbs from other starters manually via serial number in the hue app.

bought 1 pack in Tunbridge Wells home store today, £49.99. There was another one left on the shelf, was tempted to buy that too, but have bought too many Hue's lately (thanks HUKD's!)

Tried to grab this over the weekend. Tried on Saturday in Stratford - no stock of starter kits, single B22 at £179.99. Sloane Square had none. Oxford Street had B22 starter kits but priced at £179.99. Thought it was over at that point, wish I tried more JL's.

Tried Nottingham yesterday who had no stock but checked online and the price on their system was showing at £179.99 which I was told would be the price they would sell at. Also tried Oxford Street today but they are scanning through at full price. Wonder if it's just the Home stores that this impacts, either that or they have since corrected the issue.

It still works bought today Tuesday needed to get stock from out back has to be the b22 bayonets
