It's a good price compared to rrp, but generally people would be better off buying a bundle /starter kit
Aren't they making it so their lights don't need a bridge anymore?

Yes, Bluetooth, but that's going to be for new hue bulbs
I went for the Lightstrips 2m + 1m on Amazon for 49.99. Needed the bridge so it's not bad for me I guess.
Its cheap. Why cold. The kits are expensive comparatively. £60 for bridge and 2 white bulbs at Toolstation

Just bought the bridge and 2 colour light deal from Currys and dumped my annoying Yeelights. Fantastic deal with a Google Mini thrown in. However this bridge is still cheap and once youve got it you can start collecting individual items eg lights switches strips etc when on offer.

it's always cheaper to buy a bulb+bridge combo, even if you don't CeX the bridge

Yes but what about the people who only wanted the lightstrips like myself? Buy one of combos you're on about and take the bulbs to CEX?

The cheapest lightstrip 2m+1m & Bridge bundle I could find was £99.

Dont think so. Hue/Alexa compatible bulbs can be very cheap and I am sure various other add ons can be too if you look hard enough. Theres a Philips dimming kit with white bulb on Very for £25. Ive got a 20% voucher so £20. Theres always bargains around.

Currently they're £69.99 for three colour bulbs and bridge, most people are eligible for a £10 off of some variety, so £20/bulb for colour, not white

Yep, CeX the bulbs.

Quite why you'd buy hue lightstrips if you don't have hue bulbs I don't know, they're only advantageous if you're already using Hue

Doh Ive already said ive bought the kit. Anyone buying this bridge will be able to add bulbs white or colour if they look through current and forthcoming offers. They will also be able to buy Osram bulbs which are now compatible with Hue and often on offer. The Very kit was only an example of the offers out there. I think ive done this to death and wont be responding to moronic comments.
