Philips Hue Bridge + 6 White Bulbs for £75.93 inc del @ Amazon

Found 14th Dec 2017
This is a combinations of various deals posted already but thought I'd bring them together as it's cheaper than a starter pack and more for your money.

Currently Amazon are doing the Hue Bridge for 25.99.
If you then add three 2 packs of white bulbs you'll qualify for a 3for2 offer so the total cost comes in at £75.93 inc free delivery. This is available for non Prime members as well as I'm not a prime customer.

Of course if you just want the bulbs you can still get them on 3for2 for £49.98 inc free delivery for 6.

This includes B22 & E27 Bulbs.

Edit: Just realised the total price will vary by a few pence depending on what combination of bulbs you buy due to a 4p price difference on the packs.

B22 £24.99
E27 £24.95

Who still uses bayonet and screw type bulbs?Anyone seen any good prices on …Who still uses bayonet and screw type bulbs?Anyone seen any good prices on gu10’s?

I'd imagine 98% of the private houses within the country still use Bayonet or Screw in the majority of their ceiling lights outside of bathrooms and kitchens.

Who wants to see the ceiling acne that GU10's are in rooms they actually want to spend time relaxing in.
Isnt this just combining two existing deals that have been posted on here continuously?

Yip, I mentioned it in my post. Not everyone would spot it though on the individual deals. I did search for 3for2 Amazon deal but didn't see it? Just for other retailers.

Almost as good as a 2-1 win I think.

Just change the quantity so you have three 2 packs of any combination in your basket. The discount will show on the final checkout screen before you commit to buy.
Need a decent price for colour bulbs. I ordered hub alone few days ago but will return and reorder as saving £10 on multibuying.

Did you get the Hub on the £25.99 deal from Amazon?
Just make sure you know how many you need. Personally I wouldn't put the plain white in the bedrooms as they don't dim as well as the colour/ambient.
I would adapt to it but ses bulbs are 95% use in my house, only have 3 bayonet and 2 es, their ses cost a lot more and my light fittings don't look good with candle ses only golf see and each fitting had 3 in each.

And I have 4 fittings with 3 sets golf bulbs

Agreed. They're alright for a hallway, but it took me less than a week to replace the ones i or in my bedroom. They can't be gradually dimmed.

Ikea smart GU10s are compatible and much cheaper. They only do white and white ambience, but the colour Hue GU10s aren't very good anyway.
I have not one single light fitting that takes these bulbs
As others have said the white ambiance or colour ambiance bulbs are far better with more colour gradients but the plain white bulbs are good for hallways, spare rooms etc. So this is a good deal.

Yes the hue white ones are aren't that great but the Hue White Ambiance is better but personally I think the colour ones are better for a bedroom.
Cheaper to get the bridge from amazon and bulbs from Currys
I think is better to add £50 to get Ambiance Bulbs...
Please post the link for Philips hue Ambience bulbs and hue bridge.
I am finding hard to make up the deal posted here.

The 3for2 is on the bulbs only so you could order them in their own without returning the Hub and should work out the same deal overall.

That's what I had done.

Same here I've added all to basket but £100?
To clarify, the 3for2 offer is on the bulbs so you need to add three 2 packs to your order to get the discount then add the bridge separately.

The discount will show on the final checkout page before you hit the order button.

This works on any qualifying Hue bulbs so you can also get an offer on the colour ones as well.

I can see me being disappointed with my 6 bulbs I've ordered

I had planned to switch to colour as good deals became available.
I would advise to buy only one colour bulb for bedroom or small screw mounting colour one for small table lamp...

I want to party =)

So probably do colour in lounge and dining room and a lamp and leave the halls, bathroom and bedrooms white.
is there any R80 bulbs/ smart or otherwise?

Definitely, these bulbs are okay for hallways and maybe rooms that very rarely get used so unless you have a massive house you won't need 6.
I think you can only link three bulbs to one hub so if you bought the six bulbs you would need to buy another hub

I'm sure you can have up to 50 bulbs to 1 bridge?
I don't understand the comments about the white Hue bulbs not dimming properly ? I have 3 in my lounge walls lights - they dim absolutely fine and can be set to any light level I need.

Yes - 50 bulbs is the maximum Philips recommend, so one hub should be sufficient for most people. I think 'devices' like sensors or switches might need to be included in that number too.

It's 63 bulbs/accessories. 50 is what they recommend though for stability.
Please can you send the link for the bulbs not working for me 😣
Good deal, have been waiting for a reasonable deal on the bulbs. Ordered the £25 bridge the other day and i'm happy enough with the white bulbs to be honest. We moved into a new, big house earlier in the year and still have 6 of the old energy saving ones installed. These will be great to replace all of those at around £8 a bulb.

They dim ok but in the bedroom when you want a night light they are too bright on the dimmest setting. Colour and ambience bulbs are better there.

These are the bulbs included in the promotion : amazon.co.uk/gp/…S5B

I think you just add 3 to your order and the cheapest should be free.

Others - like the single bayonet B22 'white' bulbs - were included in the promotion, but are currently out of stock.
