How are these powered?

How are these powered?

Cabled to home's power? (this is a standard hue spot light bulb and dimmer, plus one of theirs spotlight housings)
So these could be wired in as replacements for standard wall lights? Am I right in also assuming compatible with Alexa and Google assistant speakers?

Precisely. There's a bracket underneath that you screw to the ceiling where the lighting rose is or wherever you plan to place it, then you screw the lamp on the bracket. You might need to purchase a junction box along with these depending on your install. Check Screwfix. Cheap enough.

This is a banging deal btw. Heat!!

Cheers, thought as much. Do you need the Hue bridge to use with Alexa /Google?
Yeah pretty much. The remote that comes with can still do a few features but it you want access to everything and voice commands then the bridge is required.

I heard the IKEA gu10 bulbs are also compatible with these so maybe worth buying one or two and sticking them down for peace of mind. Loads cheaper than the hue bulbs.
Now £32.99
White ones available also but slightly dearer
