Philips Hue Dimming Kit - £14 RRP £30 at In-store at Asda Living

Spotted these at Newport Spytty retail park. Includes one Hue white bulb and dimmer switch. Marked up at £14 and scanned at £14.

RRP of £30 — the dimmer on its own is £20 and bulbs are £14, so this seems like a good deal!

You don't need the bridge for this to work, the only thing you won't be able to do is control the bulb from your smartphone/Alexa etc.

I can't tell from the pic on the app, is this the screw type fitting or bayonet type bulb included with this?

Pretty sure they are screw cap (E27) when I've looked at them online.

Anyone found any in any other store? Might not be worth my while after the bridge toll

Edison screw rather than bayonet, but adapters are pretty cheap.

Good find! Picked up one there today based on this post.

Screw cap only, but as others have said I'm just planning on getting a cheap adapter.

The Hue bulbs themselves are also only £7 (again screw only), the bayonet cap are £14 so presumably not on offer.

Didn't realise the bulbs are half price too. Could be tempted to go get a couple! X)
