Just because you don’t see a use for a product does not mean you have superior intelligence to everyone else. An intelegent person would likely have realised that this deal was not relevant to them and ignored it. Yet here you are!

Link not working?
Easily findable on Amazon though
Two bulbs for nearly £47! I've just bought 5 dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch for £10...What's the difference?
A much better option in my opinion is the twin pack of standard Hue bayonet bulbs at £25, get three and that’s six bulbs for £50. If I had a spare £50 right now I’d be taking them up on that deal to finally kit out all the rooms in my flat

- you can set a timer
- you can turn them on and off from outside the house anywhere in the world
- you can synchronise them to music
- 16 million different colours
god damn it the list goes on!

sorry i ABSOLUTELY love hue lights but bloody expensive lol

These bulbs can be controlled by talking to my Siri remote or phone, can be set up to switch off if I leave the flat and forget to switch them off, or turn off and on at a preset time, or can be programmed to switch on off or dim to a preset level under certain circumstances. Sometimes I also turn them off and on when I’m not home just to freak about my flat mate. 😋

May not be anything you are interested in, but some of us use this crap

I use them as a security aid. Got some dodgy neighbours. This way they never know if we are not in.

these are the ambiance bulbs. They do light colours i.e light blue bloody wonderful to sit and relax too worth every penny!!
I am sure colour bulbs are 50 quid each still. I think these are White. If they were colour I’d buy as I was in JL otherday and colour bulbs there and everywhere are 45-50 quid each!
I thought it was 6 for £46.95 until I clicked on the link.
People are crazy paying £47 for two bulbs. 3 for 2 just makes them a little less crazy. Voting cold until the Dutch company Philips reduce there prices across the board. Their monopoly days are over.

Ah the old, everyone who doesn't agree with me is stupid line. I understand, we all get more inflexible as we age.

Correct these are the white only bulbs, ambient means the temperature is adjustable as well as dimmable. The colour ones are £50 each and Ikea does not yet do colour E14 bulbs so I’m keeping an eye out for offers on the colour Hue E14s.
Me too or when Ikea do colour.
Is it not cheaper to buy the normal fitting B22? bulbs and then buy an adaptor?
Remember seeing plenty of normal hue fitting bulbs going alot cheaper than this?
I also use Hue bulbs but can't justify the extra cost just because of a different fitting...cold for me
The IKEA e14 bulbs are only £7 each, so I am thinking of buying 6 of them for my living room lights, $42 instead of £93.90.
I already have a Hue hub and understand that the ikea ones can be controlled by hue.

This is a good deal, though if you want to stay with philips bulbs

The Ikea bulbs would be a great choice but sadly I'm not planning to move to America any time soon Does anyone know if the Ikea bulbs also come with a bayonet connector, or is it just a screw? This is the first time I've really looked into them and I cant see any.

God darn it, I thought 42 bucks was a great price
The white bulbs of Philips Hue are advertised as giving you White (2700 Kelvin) white light, which is warm white. Ikea tradfri bulbs gives light up to Cool White (4500 Kelvin). Its only the Hue White ambience light that can take it up to the range of Cool Daylight (6500 Kelvin) and neither Normal Hue white nor Tradfri range currently give you that facility. The ambiance bulbs are costly. Not everyone needs the cool daylight but that was is my preference as I like that light spectrum, when working.

Ha! I never even noticed that! I was actually poking fun at Ikea for not selling them with a bayonet connector
