Decisions, decisions. these were just over £50 with a 1m extension on amazon.es yesterday, but I couldn't use my vouchers there.

I had the same problem, with vouchers. Shame it doesn't include the extension as you say, would have jumped all over it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling that way. It's still a pretty good price, but got that niggling, could be better feeling.

can you cut this into multiple parts and connect them together? Does a wire have to be running from the end to a socket? Looking at putting multiple sections under different kitchen units

Cold sorry, got this and 1m ext yesterday on amazon.spain ...

Yes, but it will involve soldering or perhaps using some cheap third party adapters.

See here for the soldering method:

I don't feel your judgement can be trusted - you have a Christmas tree up and it's still November.

you can't. You're thinking of Philips Ambilight.

I asked because the images posted by Pokerkingbouch seem to be in sync with the image on his telly, which intrigues me as I also thought only Ambilight can do this. Unless, this happen to be pure coincidence, I wanted to know if there is another way?

Original Poster

There is an app(paid one) Hue camera , that can do this for you,but your mobile device has to be pointed towards the telly all the time and during the movie can change the light according to screen, with bit delay though...

Philips announcement coming in December for this very feature.

If I've got the 2 x2m deal from black Friday, for opposite sides of the kitchen, am I right in thinking that I should be looking to buy the 1m extensions now rather than the 2m plus kit?

One side of the kitchen needs more than 2m.
